There were no betrayals done by the people of former East Pakistan, it was only right to seek independence from the Punjabi-Dominated nation of Pakistan who did nothing but oppressed the Bengalis in East Pakistan. Then, it came the horror leading up to the war of independence and prior killing the Bengali students who protested for the rights to speak their own language. Despite all of that evil actions you committed pre 71 and 71, today your nation has multiple languages/ethnicity which you boast about, you allow each to speak/read their own region languages, you even have Bengali as one of the official language in Karach. So my question is, Why was the double standards and evil committed in 50s 60s and lead to discrimination of Bengalis back then for 24years? It clearly shows us, your leaders/gov/nation meant every bit of the evil actions and discriminations they were committing towards the Bengalis in East Pakistan. Badmash/Evil ka bacha kabhi acha nahi hota!, I say.

You have not had international cricket played in pak regular since 2009 due to terrorist Paks trying to kill the Sri Lankan innocent team/members (some even got shot, some even had bullets whistled past them). which is depriving millions of Paks from seeing live actions inside Pak and millions of youths growing up without seeing cricket in front of their eyes hence the inspiration is dying done. Disagreements with neighbouring countries can be solved through discussions, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has told Pakistan’s ambassador.

Ambassador Rafiuzzaman Siddiqui was at the Prime Minister’s Office for a courtesy visit on Sunday.

Bangladesh cooperates with its neighbours despite having differences, Hasina told Islamabad’s envoy, her press secretary Ihsanul Karim later told reporters.

She used the example of how Dhaka’s long-standing dispute with Delhi over land and maritime boundary was resolved, he said.

During the meeting, Hasina recalled the deadly grenade attack on the Awami League rally she was addressing in 2004 and the series bombing of 2005.

Arms traders have been benefitting from terror and militancy, she said.

Bangladesh’s people are praised in Pakistan for their economic development and position against terror, Karim said, quoting ambassador Siddiqui.

Bangladesh has not suffered a repeat of its deadliest terror attack which left mostly foreigners dead at Holey Artisan Bakery in 2016, said Siddiqui, and credited Prime Minister Hasina for dealing with the crisis.

It's a good job bangladesh is not a neighbouring country to Pakistan then isn't it? In fact bangladesh is at least 2500 kms away from Pakistan and we have absolutely nothing in common with bangladesh or it's people. bangladesh has 0 effect on us and vice versa. In fact Pakistan has far more in common with the Muslim countries to the West of us and we are much more more affected by their internal issues than we are of bangladesh.

The two speeches that are at the center of controversy were made on 21st and 24th of March, 1948 at a public meeting and then at Dacca University convention. In both speeches Jinnah took a consistent stand:

1. The people of Bengal were free to choose Bengali as the official language of the Bengal province. This he said very clearly and unambiguously on both occasions and the premier of Bengal – Khawaja Nazimuddin also reaffirmed this.
2. Urdu alone would be the state language and the lingua franca of the Pakistan state.
3. Bengali – like other provincial languages- could be the official language of the East Bengal province but not the Pakistan state and the Pakistan center (Jinnah’s words).

This was the rule applicable to all other provinces too..Don't know why you people starting to cry against Jinnah from day 1 when he applied the same rule to other provinces too

I am just trying to remind you of the truth of the 1952 history when the students were fired upon by police because they had broken Section 144 order declared by the govt of east Pakistan whose Chief Minister was Nurul Amin, a Bangali from probably Mymensingh. Note also, Khwaja Nazimuddin, a Bengali leader from Dhaka, was also the PM of Pakistan at that time.

So, why it is that the Punjabis were responsible for that event? In reality, common people in both the wings had nothing to do with the politics of the then Pakistan. It is still same in both the countries. Then, it was Muslim League politics. Now, it is AL politics in BD.

About domination. Pakistan Army was dominated by the Punjabis and Pathan. History had something to do with it. The civil service was dominated by the Indian Muslims, who were more educated than others because of the influence of Aligarh University. Most of the large factories were also built by the Indian Muslim families because they had much higher experience with industry in India than the other people in Pakistan.
