Lmao. Its obvious you ignore the depth and strength of Saudi- India ties.
No, purely internal decision. Pakistan never wanted to escalate the situation.

Saudi pressure?? Why would saudi care about Abhinedan. They couldnt pursue Pakistan to join war in Yemen.

At the time Pakistan consulted all friends including SA, China, Turkey and US. I think it was a great decision.

Pakistan just followed what our ancesters did, what Mohmmad ( PBUH) did after war, release the war prisoners.

.
While Pakistanis talked tough about ab hi naan done Nd his fate for 800days on here....smh...oh well...

If releas9ng abhi nandone was normal and right thencwjy is Pakistanis govt hiding it?
He was release after 8 days.

.
Truth is Bitter ... India was not afraid of full scale escalations it was pakistan. Still after USA and Chinese assurance even after putting Masood Azhar on UN terrorist list and giving Abhinandan back.. Pakistan military kept its air space closed for next 3 months lol

lolz there is no fly zone on Syria. Still every one is flying carrying out their strikes. Did IAF require open air space to fly??? If there is no fly zone in open war will IAF park their jets??? Does IAF fly under civilian jets???

Infact we give you an open field since IAF can't differ friend from foe.

.
You do realise under international law, if no conflict has been declared he could have only been kept for a limited number of days.
He should have been kept a lot longer then we kept him. Then he should have been released only after India officially requested. We were in so hurry that we did not even wait for an Indian request.

What are you trying to say?

. .
Pakistanis think too much of these pressures. Just like in everyday life of citizens, govt too return one favor at a time and there is no free pass for return favors. All the countries know it too well to not to ask for favors when it comes to dealing with India because that will be a big fat humiliating NO FU

Did Pakistan release Abhinandan on Saudi pressure?

KARACHI: It is still an unanswered question whether Pakistan released Indian Air Force pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, on Saudi Arabia’s pressure last year, on March 1, 2019. According to foreign media, when Tanvi Marwah, wife of Abhinandan, received a call on her mobile telephone from Pakistan routed through Saudi Arabia and heard her husband on the other side of the phone. She later told the media she knew that Pakistan’s intelligence agency was making it possible.

Meanwhile, India heaved a sigh of relief when Prime Minister Imran Khan announced in the National Assembly that Abhinandan would be sent back as a “peace gesture”. However, the foreign media said the move was made possible due to immense international pressure, especially Saudi Arabia to pull both countries back from the brink.

The media reported that Saudi Arabia, the US, and the United Arab Emirates played key role in safe release of the Indian pilot. President Donald Trump had told the world media from Hanoi that “reasonably attractive news was coming from India and Pakistan”.

He told journalists, who had gathered for his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, “We’ve been involved in trying to have them stop and we have some reasonably decent news. I think, hopefully, that’s going to be coming to an end. It has been going on for a long time”.

UAE Crown Prince, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, meanwhile tweeted that he had made “telephone calls to the Indian and Pakistani Prime Ministers”, stressing the “importance of dealing wisely with recent developments and giving priority to dialogue and communication”.

However, according to the foreign media, Saudi Arabia played most crucial role in release of Abhinandan. Saudi Minister of State for Foreign affairs, Adel al Jubeir, flew to Islamabad with an “important message from the Crown Prince, MBS”. Ultimately, the Indian pilot was released in just 60 hours of captivity in Pakistan.

Useless baseless typical Pakistani conspiracy uncle chatter. .

.
Both countries wanted an out and returning the downed pilot was one such opportunity. It is as simple as that. However other than that, Pakistan had no specific pressure to return the pilot (the pressure on both sides was to reduce military tensions) as such Pakistan could have kept the pilot longer. Reality is that India did not have any better options to get their man back either.

Sure it was Saudi pressure. The SAME Saudi pressure that failed to make Pakistan fight against the Houthi Militia...............the Saudi really care about abhinanden because he is Saudi not indian...... ..:rofl::rofl::rofl:

. .
We didn't realease this particular Indian POW for nothing. We also got something in return from the Indians which is not for the mass media to circulate. Don't make assumptions based on publicly available information. We are among the toughest negotiators in the region which even the Americans reluctantly admit.
