I wonder if jinnah had read iqbal's poetry. Iqbal had very revolutionary thoughts and real islamic ideological content in his poetry....did it inspired jinnah?

.
may be he was not good in poetry . or was not fan of poetry

.
i think Jinnah only made normal speeches, and didnt include any type of poetry

I was just listening to imran khan's speech when he used that iqbal's couplet "sabaq parh shujaat ka sadaqat ka...". This thought came to my mind that what was role of iqbal's poetry in the speeches of muslim leagui leaders

I don't know about Iqbal's poetry effect on MAJ, All i know is that Iqbal's poetry is not easy to decode even for people who knows Urdu well.

Majority of his speeches are in English including the one where he announced Urdu to be national language.

Quaid E Azam Or Our Beloved Baba Didnt Need Poetry to faltter people, and he wasnt that good with urdu too
And People Took What Iqbal was trying to say in his poetry not the way how he delivered it.
Iqbals Poetry was mixture of Farsi , Urdu So Now its kind of hard for a regular urdu speaker to understand it.

both leaders are inspirational but their style was different ...
it doesnt matter if Muhammad Ali Jinnah use Iqbal poetry .. because that time iqbal was highly in peoples mind .. and they read him often ....

Both Iqbal and Jinnah were close associates but different leader in style. I think, Quaid' s most of the speeches were in english.
