The slum politics of Dharavi is a different beast altogether. There is no one single leader inside there. Caste , religious, linguistics politics will take over soon hampering any real development of Dharavi. Nor has the politicians honest with their intentions. Only the resident can come forward, pool their lands to a developer and reap some benefits.

Not to forget many organisations who glorify these slums . But it has to happen . Lets hope it happens sooner rather than later .
