Developments and Turkish operations in Libya

.

I just don’t get it. Everyone knows and has proven foreign soldiers in Libya. But Egypt insist on that only libyans will fight for libya....

Perhaps the biggest mistake here is not finding a way to destroy uae oil / gas infrastructure. Would there be so many foreign soldiers if uae were busy protecting their own country ?

Well discrimination against copts is more or less the same as it was during Morsi/Mubarak era
Just because their patriarch pose for photo op with pharaoh Sisi it doesn’t mean copts are spared of humiliation
They still need permission for building church egyptian army is forced to spend its resources by providing escort during religious rituals...

As Turks should we care about the copts??

Nah we should not. They are anti turkish.

People are attaching too much importance to Sisi’s words. In my opinion Egypt is not interested in heavy military involvement in Libya. He made the remarks for two reasons:

  1. Ethiopia declared that they will be filling the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam this month without any regard to Egypt’s opinion. This is a jaw breaking slap in the face to Egypt, and since Sisi can’t do anything about it, he had to distract the Egyptian public from it.
  2. The UAE and SA have a lot of influence on Egypt. While their influence is not enough to Take Egypt to war, they did manage to pressure Sisi enough to make a threat, even if he is not willing to stand behind the threat.

Maybe, but GNA will press on at some point, which in return will corner sisi even more. He’ll either have to swallow his words or be forced to invade Libya. Sisi cornered himself with that statement. But he’d be able to drag Egypt into shit. Just like a certain someone we don’t need to mention here.
