We wont have capability to launch a 6 tonne geostationary satellite unless UMLV appears,so it would be launched using French Ariane.

GSLV will take some time to reach that capability. This much heavier satellite will be sent to space by another country's rocket. Gslv will send GSAT and INSET series satellite intially.
