"Descendants of the Dragon 2060" world tour kicks off in Beijing

On a specially designed spaceship from 2060, megastar Wang Leehom has landed in Beijing! With two solo concerts over the weekend at the Wukesong Stadium, the versatile singer-songwriter started his world tour titled "Descendants of the Dragon, 2060."
"The King of Chinese Pop" set the packed house on fire on the rainy Friday evening.
The stage was turned into a huge spacecraft, which Wang said was from the year 2060 to take the fans to a future that features love, peace and equality.
Leehoms noted that “Descendants of the Dragon 2060” is a wonderful land where you can just be yourself and pursue the dreams that you have.

The US-born star went on to explain that he was once the only Chinese student in his school, saying that he understands the suffering that comes from bullying at school and now on the Internet.
Another emotional moment at the concert was that Wang Leehom announced for the first time that he and his wife are expecting a baby boy this summer, their third child, joining two daughters in the family.
Futuristic film work was added to the stage effects, while fusing together distinctive cultural forms, such as Chinese martial arts.
"Descendants of the Dragon, 2060" will, in three years, touch other corners of the world where Chinese people reside. Other stops in China include Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Nanjing and Shenzhen.
