Defence Cooperation: Dhaka, Delhi sign deal

Are we really vessel state of India? Here money isn't a big factor, the real problem is the nature of this agreement.

Just watch next term of Haseena/BAL. You are going to not like it at all. Most of the members are going to hate it even more. As if her changing the key generals to "loyalists" only wasn't bad enough. There is much going on behind the scenes right now.

You know sweet f*all about what is going on behind the scenes.

PS - What happened to your "alliance" with @bluesky?

Wild speculation is the hallmark of many in this forum.

Throw it against a wall and see what sticks....

Their boats are more dependable than their small arms...we could get boats.

And I don't think Brahmos is on their 'selling' list. Even if it was - should we get i
I agree with your post Bhai , but as @BDforever said that we must get it to know it's threat capacity, and also we have no other choice but to observe, let's see what happen next .
But if we only can get it and know it's threat capacity , then only this deal will favour us .
I strongly believe that our army will not take any decision that go against us , although I was angry when I saw this sudden news .
But @BDforever Bhai , @Bilal9 Bhai does have a point , can we really get the brahmos to know their threat capacity? Will India sell it to us ?
Now things become more complex.
Make it easier please , at least with some hints if can't say directly ; do we really have this chance to take it from them in order to know it's threat capacity?
Nishedh thakle yes/no answer will be enough too ;) .

Talking about brahmos was just a fun to a sincere question.

Not funny and not any good joke and not a matter of joke.

Bangladesh, if smart, should ask for the latest Indian artillery, even if not yet procured by the Indian Army. Contact Kalyani. They've a diverse range.
ATAGS is probably overkill for Bangladesh.
That'll be helpful to us as well since it'll weaken our usual excuses not to use them in order to buy foreign.

Other than that, of course our Coast Guard AOPV is a good contender. But the issue is that its tonnage is similar to some Bangladesh Navy frigates. So it's better to make them warships.

Dhruv and LUH are great choices as well. Unlike Ecuador which crashed its two Dhruvs by not signing a maintenance contract and two by pilot error, BD is right next door and all maintenance will be provided.

Rudra imo is the best combat helicopter for BD since it's not overkill like say LCH or T129 and is more than sufficient against Myanmar. It's one of a kind in the market.
