Not to sound so like a snob but I wasn't referring to the kind of couple whom you saw at a Walmart. I am talking about often-decent-looking professional women--even white-- who are finding it hard to find a 'suitable' match because guys are more and more unwilling to 'commit' and part of the lack of commitment by guys are the financial costs in case of a split-up.

Buddy it is not some giant conspiracy by white guys to keep Thailand down. I think there is some truth in finding 'submissive' women and so the Southeast Asian women are sought. But lots of other factors are involved: Afraid of demanding white women in the West who would want their legal rights; trying different experiences; and cheaper living in Southeast Asia...

PS. Not to offend anyone by saying this as my personal choice: The Southeast Asian women are some of the least attractive to me. My favorites are sort of around a narrow band of latitudes: From northern Pakistan, going west to the northwest tip of Africa. But, in a pinch, I'd take any good looking woman from anywhere, any race!
