Dassault says close to signing first Rafale export deal - Le Figaro

Two industry sources told Reuters Egypt was discussing the purchase of 24 Rafale jets and a Fremm frigate from the French defence company, following a report in daily Les Echos, estimating the deal at 5 to 6 billion euros.

24 for 5-6 Billions.
124 for 25-30 Billions?

That is plain ripping off. Would India want to take their 25-30 Billions 124 jets out in the air when needed? ;) Cost of defending must be less than cost of rebuilding your assets if destroyed. So what can India build with 25-30 Billions Dollars?

i.e. 150 Million $ per Rafale.

Indian brains! duh, the 3.6 billion euros are not the price of the jets only, no, the amount includes hundreds of millions for spare parts and pilot training, and Egyptian maintenance crews training, and other things that are required to fly the jets !
