RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Monday busted a major terror module, killing two terrorists during a raid in Bajaur, ARY NEWS reported quoting Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to details provided by the ISPR, the security forces while acting on a tip-off raided a hideout in Bajaur to bust a major terror module besides killing two wanted terrorists namely Zubair and Aziz ur Rehman.

“Those killed during the operation were involved in attacks on law enforcement personnel, government officials and other terror acts in Bajaur and Karachi,” the army’s media wing said.

The ISPR said that the slain terrorists were receiving instructions for attacks on Pakistan soil from RAW-sponsored elements in the neighbouring war-torn country.

“One of the slain terrorists, Zubair was an operational commander of the terror outfit in Bajaur while the wife of another terrorist Azizur Rehman, was looking after the ladies wing of the terror module in Karachi,” the media wing said adding that the wife was arrested recently and handed over to police.

It is pertinent to mention here that security forces have carried out successful raids recently to neutralize terror elements in parts of the country.

A major terrorism activity was averted in Balochistan’s Kech district after security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on a militants’ hideout, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on October 31.

The military’s media wing said that one hardcore terrorist was killed during the operation in Kech district, while a soldier of the Pakistan army was also injured during the exchange of fire.

According to ISPR, the wanted terrorist was involved in the killing of innocent people, extortion and attacking security forces.

A large cache of arms and communication equipment have also been recovered from their hideout, said the military’s media wing.

Security forces on Monday neutralised a major terrorist network during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Bajaur tribal district, killing two RAW-sponsored terrorists, military said.
The military's media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement that militant commanders Zubair and Aziz Ur Rehman alias Fida were killed during the encounter in a hideout near Tangi village in Bajaur.
These terrorists were involved in activities in Bajaur and Karachi and were also involved in a number of terrorism incidents against law enforcement agencies, government officials and innocent civilians, the ISPR said.
It said that the network was coordinating terrorist activities in various areas of Pakistan and received direct orders from their RAW-sponsored leadership from across the border.
The development comes days after Pakistan unveiled a dossier, containing "irrefutable evidence" of India's sponsorship of terrorism in Pakistan.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar, during a press briefing, stated that India was trying to sabotage CPEC.
This week, Islamabad gave a briefing to the envoys of the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), which also included China, about the specific proofs of Indian involvement in terrorism in the country.
“The envoys were apprised of India’s involvement in planning, promoting, aiding, abetting, financing and execution of terrorist activities in Pakistan,” the Foreign Office said. “The dossiers containing irrefutable evidence … were handed over to them [envoys],” it added.
On Friday, China appreciated the “positive contribution” of Pakistan to the international counterterrorism efforts and supported Islamabad’s crackdown on terrorists.
Taking to the microblogging website, Twitter, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lijian Zhao also said that any attempt to sabotage the CPEC project would not succeed.
“China appreciates the positive contribution by Pakistan to the international counter-terrorism cause, firmly supports Pakistan in cracking down on terrorist forces. Attempts that aim to sabotage CPEC are doomed to fail,” Lijian said in his tweet.

Job well done by our security and intelligence agencies.

The Hindutva regime and their failed intelligence and spy network must be licking their wounds, specially, the ever boasting "Major" Gaurav Arya. Their diwali became khoon ki holi for their agents in Pakistan.
