RAIPUR: A CRPF jawan was killed in a landmine blast in Chhattisgarh's naxal-inflected Bijapur district today, police said.

R Govasdhan Reddy, belonging to E company of 222 battalion of CRPF, was killed after he stepped on a pressure bomb, planted underneath the land by naxals in the interior forests of Sarkeguda village under Basguda police station limits, DIG (Intelligence) Dipanshu Kabra, told PTI.

What about during the numerous swarming attacks that are conducted by these terrorists against our forces!If the I.A.F. can deploy one of their gunships during one such attack then we can easily wipe out a couple of hundreds of these basta@ds in a matter of minutes!!

CRPF jawans have been repeatedly ambushed. On december 2nd 14 were killed and 15 injured. Both these attacks have taken place within 10 days of each other.
Just condemning the act wont be enough from the government..its high time some sterner action is taken against the perpetrators.
