He's in the U.S. Army. Camo and patch says it all. Not the real helo. Watch the clip and shows the same background setting. Not to mention in your pic it shows a concrete pedestal of some kind keeping the helo in place instead of landing gear. Also forgot, if you see the date, this was made long after Osama's death and revealing of the helo. Of course Hollywood have the chance to make at least part of the real helo.

Relax all people Pak is already doing research on stealth and anti stealth since a long time. There is a lab in a southern city from islamabad (on our map) just for that.

how abt i tell u that we got what we wanted from these helis. Also there wasnt much to learn from them since they were destroyed and nothing specific they offered of what we didnt knew. I cant tell u everything but can only tell this. There was a senior member who told this back then.

the only photos I've seen are the tail rotor section, where is the rest of whatever was left of the fuselage ? Doesn't make sense that the 1 particular piece is in relatively good shape but the rest was somehow blasted beyond any recognition..

ok , i was worried after listening news about handed back of this helo its good we have some information on this
i know they tried to destroy completely this helo after crashed
but after in this situation we could get some information on fifth generation and use it in future jets and helo's designs

right, so there was absolutely nothing left apart from the tail rotor section ? which begs the question, then, why was the tail piece left basically untouched

or, maybe the Pak military cleared all of it before the press arrived. I see that the pic has a reuters watermark, not a government release, then. Nothing on google either.

All we can do is speculate but I think it is highly likely Pakistan took paint and mechanical samples. If the reverse engineering program for this helicopter is successful Pakistan may be able to develop it's own stealth capabilities. As one member posted there is already ongoing chemical research.
