That's how a well placed Jet Engine should look like.

its a MIG 27 , i dont know why we are acting so immature
folks if indians hid it for 1 month why would they show it now labelling it MIG 27
it was a MIG 27 crash pl get over it

.
Allow me to give this story a twist.
Why don't we have any pictures of the MiG-27 that crashed during the Kargil war?
We got the pilot but where did the aircraft crash?

wow
not even boot marks or tracks.
but yea it just fell down and didnt even roll.

not sure what is the intent of cover up if it is a cover up
engine seems to be ripped off but look at the clean fan blades
no fuel or oil spill either

but all is possible in science
I am no crash expert, nor displacement and placement expert of hefty engines

Must be a very hard surface where it bounced along.

Yesterday, Indian Air Force reported that one of it's MiG-27 UPG (Upgraded) had crashed in Rajistan and released images of it's wreckage. Amongst the debris was this piece of landing gear. Firstly the MiG-27 nose landing gear has a set of two wheels while the main landing gear has a distinctive cranked arm. Even if one was to believe that this is indeed the nose landing gear of the aircraft and the second wheel has somehow detached from it, does the condition of this equipment resembles of a recent crash and that too of an ungraded platform.
The piece looks as if it's been dragged across the Saharan Desert or picked up from a boneyard.

MiG-27

There's a video showing the crash site of 6 seconds, you can see the second wheel in it.

.
In fact it is the nose landing gear of a MiG-27 with one wheel missing.

Not saying it’s one or the other, but the MiG nose landing gear in your picture has a front knuckle immediately above the wheels- I don’t see that in the pictures of the debris.
