I have to agree. He stabilised the economy and reduced bad debt (despite high fuel prices in his days, $100+p/b), but his political decisions (to bring the corrupt tola back in power and then the killer blow the infamous NRO) were horrendous! He got infected with the 'Dictator wanting to be democratic' bug and that was his worst decision ... unfortunately that's the case with Pakistan so far ... Dictators end up wanting a soft image of being democratic and elected PMs becoming the real dictators.
