International Online Report (China Radio International reporter Liu Chang): On May 28th, China Power--Hubu 2×660MW coal-fired power generation project No. 2, one of the important energy projects of the China-Brazil Economic Corridor, successfully connected to the grid. .
After the successful completion of the No. 1 unit on December 28, 2018, China Power-Hubu Company cooperated with the participating construction and operation and maintenance teams to accelerate the construction and commissioning of Unit 2, and successfully realized the steam turbine on May 25. For the first time, the generator was purged. On May 27th, the unit was restarted and rushed to 3000 rpm. The main parameters such as bearing vibration and temperature of the unit were excellent. After various electrical tests, the grid conditions were met. On May 28th, a grid connection was successful.
China Power-Hubu Project is one of the three large-scale thermal power projects under the important energy projects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. It is jointly invested by China Power International Co., Ltd. ("CLP International") of the National Power Investment Group and Pakistan HUBCO Company. It is the first overseas greenland project of CLP International Holdings. At present, CLP Hubu Company is embarking on various reliability tests to prepare for the successful entry of the two units into commercial operation.

国际在线报道（中国国际广播电台记者 刘畅）：５月２８日，中巴经济走廊重要能源项目之一——国家电投中电胡布２×６６０兆瓦燃煤发电项目２号机组成功并网发电。
继１号机组于２０１８年１２月２８日成功并网后，中电胡布公司与各参建、运维团队通力协作，加快推进２号机组建设及调试工作，５月２５日成功实现汽轮机首次冲转并进行发电机吹扫，５月２７日机组再次启动，冲转至３０００转每分，机组轴承振动、瓦温等主要参数指标优良，经过各项电气试验后满足并网条件，于５月２８日一次并网成功。
中电胡布项目作为中巴经济走廊重要能源项目下的３座大型火电项目之一，由国家电投集团旗下中国电力国际有限公司（简称“中电国际”）与巴基斯坦ＨＵＢＣＯ公司共同投资建设，是中电国际控股的首个海外绿地项目。目前，中电胡布公司正着手进行各项可靠性试验，为两台机组顺利进入商业运行做准备。
