Cowdung finds new life as Ganpati idols

.
This stinks.

I just wanted to help. :(:(:(:(:(

Moron , you don't get it , do you ?
Let me explain it for your simple mind .

People who used Cow dung to make Ganesh idol , think cow dung as scared and pious , though this is the first time i hearing someone use cow dung to make Ganesh idols .

Traditionally such temporary Ganesh Idols which aren't were supposed established inside a place of worship to be made up soil only . But people are making new age interpretation of religion every other day , so someone though to use cow dung which bio degradable and ecologically harmless.

Your soil cann't be used to make idol as it's not pious or sacred for anyone . But If you may use it make idols and worship it full devotion , I'am sure Lord Ganesh wont mind it at all. Lord Ganesh is too cool for it .

Of course yes , every that is visible or invisible is all made up god including the bacteria inside ur intestine.

Everything is godly and made up god. This is Hinduism .
Using your analogy them even a non Hindu is god. So when you dramatically kill kashmiris you are killing your god. You really are a strange bunch

Non hindu is god and hindu is also god , so god kills god and all happening with god's wish . Simple concept , isn't it ?:-)

would not they pollute the waterbodies?
Nope. It's a patented eco friendly tech.

This is a perfect example of how limited the Muslim mind is. How you have failed to go beyond the superficial.

Unfortunately, I am not inclined to explain things to you. It would be a waste of my time. But I do hope you find peace :)
I knew India was a giant toilet but this is literally taking the shit.:rofl::undecided:

It's not preferable due to smell etc and so not used.

But it is certainly more biodegradable and ecological than plaster of paris used to make many big Ganesh Idols .

most of them big ones are made from clay on a frame of wood/hay... plaster of paris are small permanent one.

Ok some ppl made idols out of dung,,it makes sense for thm as thr r ppl who r willing to buy it for thr religious belief,,thts what hinduism is,,pagan, idol worship, holy cow, finding god in everythng,,it may sound stupid, may not make sense to muslims,,thts ok too
But what I dont understand how muslim guys here can make fun of it whn u urself believe in fairytales abt flying donkey,,,seriously.if some atheist criticizes it,it has some weight but muslims,,i mean really??
Not to mention,,the way same guys posting here will go apeshit crazy whn someone points out somthng tht they find disgusting abt islam

The eco-friendly Ganesh idols are made of cow dung, urine, ghee and curd

Every year, Ganeshotsav proves itself to be the time for great ingenuity and creativity to come to the fore. This time around, a cow shelter run by ISKCON has come up with Ganesh idols made of cow dung and urine.

The Go-Dham Go-shala is situated in the IT hub of Hinjewadi Adlegaon in Maval. It shelters 100 cows, which are not used in the dairy business but to gather dung and urine. A Go-shala volunteer, Nitin Ghotkule, said that the venture was started in 2011. "People always see a cow as a means of making profit through milk. However, the cows that are sheltered here are not milked," he said.

For the last five years, the shelter has been making these idols out of dung and urine, mixing them with curd, ghee and sadu mud. The idols can range between five inches to five feet in height. The idols are coloured using natural dyes from jamun, turmeric and saffron. "For a few months, we failed at our attempts, but we finally got it right. We now employ local residents, especially women; we have trained them and they earn about Rs 5,000 during the festive season," said Ghotkule. The idols are sold across Maharashtra, and also Bengaluru, and cost from Rs 200 to Rs 1,000.

American Lambha Latika Devi, has been volunteering with this goshala and said, "When these eco-friendly idols are immersed, they immediately dissolve and turn into mud."

Rs 5k
Amount idol makers earn during festival season at the goshala

What ever they do, its their problem/choice. I don't think we should poke our nose into their matters. Cow dung, steel, diamond....does it matter?
