But don't you think you made these villagers' lives worse by abusing your religious authority and swindling them with Hindu quack medicines? It's not something to be proud of. Even many of your fellow Hindus would agree. When Hindu brain-eating cannibalism was exposed to the world, they felt shamed and angry. Definitely not pride:
