Iran and Turkey have strongly advocated an end to the escalating Yemen conflict, urging countries of the region to come on the negotiating table and reach a political solution to the crisis, Express News reported.
In a joint news conference on Tuesday, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani called for a ceasefire and end to the war that has raised concerns among many states of the world.
Speaking on the occasion, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also stressed the need for dialogue between regional countries to bring about a peaceful solution to the conflict.

Analysts term the visit a breakthrough to ease up the deteriorating political situation in Yemen and defusing the rising tension that has perturbed the international community.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stressed the need of involving Iran into the Yemen debate.on Tuesday
“Iran should also join the discussion and evaluate whether their policy is correct or not,” he said.

Pakistan has an important role in dismantling the tension and has been holding joint session of Parliament for the last two days to reach consensus on whether or not it should provide military assistance to Saudi Arabia, and devise a strategy for reconciliation between the countries involved in the offensive.
Pakistan also agreed with Turkey to launch shuttle diplomacy as both have been making efforts to resolve the crisis by diplomatic means.
Leaders around the world fear that an escalation in the war will only divide the Muslim world and result in the loss of men and material.
