CNN: India's $17 billion bullet train: Leap forward or waste of money?

.
Meanwhile the Japs were running it for more than 50 years and yet never had an accident.

. . .
Is that what the Japs told you?
There was no bullet train fatalities due to derailment. Only derailment of Japanese bullet train, happened due to natural calamities.

Now please continue with your emo's:lol:.
That's fail. It's not a bullet train derailment. It's a commuter. That slammed into a building due to over speed. Meanwhile, I quoted bullet train derailment due to man made errors. The @Feng Leng guy was trolling about bullet train in India. So...
Talking about Bullet train. Not general train accidents.

Which bullet train derailed? And if you can't handle regular trains, good luck with bullet trains. also comparing tiny Japanese railway system with massive Chinese ones is a joke, unless you think India is a tiny country like Japan where geographical difference those track are built on is non existent.

LOL before the accident it was called a bullet train -- going so fast was considered an engineering feat. After the accident it was renamed a "commuter train" to make bullet trains safe again.

Chinese bullet trains are "commuter trains" too according to this article:

we should congratulate India, I just want to see how Indian squeeze Japanese out of shit :D IF Japan really pour money into this project. Japan lose every bid of high speed train in ASEAN, well, they did sign a project with Thailand, however it's postponed for 'unknown reason', the Sino-Thai project will be officially started next month. :D

China is huge country and Chinese HSR runs on the world most difficult terrains like the section in Xinjiang mountains and deserts , Japan is a tiny country where everywhere the land is the same, they have no experience dealing with different terrains , Comparing to vast web of Chinese HSR system safely moving billion of people, Shinkansen is like a fun ride in an amusement park.

In every bullet train thread, the Chinese seem to be jumping up and down furiously. I think they will cool down once India throws to them some contract.

It's better that you can make them by yourself. then everything cools down.

Wrong, the Japanese have constructed HSR in UK, Taiwan they are building in US, in Texas.

You can correlate the above thread. India has a massive rail network which runs through desert mountainous terrain. Japanese are dealing with a similar terrain in Ahemdabad-Mumbai route. Together with the Indian railway experts it's not a difficult task. We have very similar terrains that China has.

Wrong. China has no interest to build India infrastructure in short term. China's oversea high speed project is less relevant with a pure railway+train business, it's only a small part of it, its value is to integrate ASEAN transportation and business network (resource, supply chain, market) tightly with China mainland.

UK and Taiwan, huge regions they have. and you are working on it now but we've done that already many times, so , I can only say good luck.
