Imran Khan is his own worst enemy. I believe this decision will prove to be a disastrous one. This Buzdar guy seems to be incompetent, lacks any vision or ideology or any experience, and is already controversial given the murder allegations and the blood money.

Not even two days and people have already started spewing venom. New CM is not Imran khans chacha or mama or Bhatija...Give him 6 months to a year...if he doesn't show competitency and delivers on his message the go ahead and demand his resignation and replace him.

There is no denying the fact That Usman Buzdar is not related to IK. However, you have to admit that this choice appears to be a little strange.

Usman Bazar joined PTI only a few months back; one would think that a long time party loyalist would have been a more logical choice. To someone like me, the reason could be either or all of the following:

- Among the long-time party loyalists from the South Punjab/Seraiki belt; there was no one capable of becoming Punjab’s CM.

- Because Punjab is currently the most important province; Imran want to run it himself thru the Governor Ch. Sarwar.

- Imran is extremely autocratic and wants to impose his will, right or wrong, on the Punjab MPs’.

- Usam Buzdar is only a stop-gap choice and would be replaced as soon a better man can be identified.

However, to fair, one should give Imran Khan at least 6 months before deciding whether PTI gov’t is better or worse than the PPP /PML in governance.

Another point to note is Usman Buzdar is from South Punjab. One of the items in PTI agenda is to make south Punjab a province and Usman's Selection will help in this regards. Usman Buzdar was part of "Junoobi Punjab Suba Mahaz". After watching his interviews one thing I see he is determined to make things better. Let's hope for the best.
