Cleanest city in Africa

Rwanda is making leaps and bounds and quickly setting a new standard of development for other African countries to follow. Its capital city, Kigali, is considered the cleanest city in Africa, with orderly roads and many green spaces. It is amazing they accomplished this in just two decades and after a huge genocide. Their leader, Paul Kagame, is probably the most intelligent and disciplined African leader today. And it seems they are just getting started, they have a lot of big infrastructure plans from a new airport, to a metro line, and many other development projects. Their aim is to turn Rwanda into the Singapore of Africa. I can definitely see Rwanda becoming a huge financial and tech hub for the continent, drawing talent from all over Africa, as it develops a safe and prosperous environment with African characteristics that are superior to the other countries in the region.

Sub-Africa is developing well and everyone is neutral towards the Africans as a matter fact the tide has shifted. People technically love nowadays Sub-Saharan Africans because they are not competiting for world power nor competitive for them it is all about ''LIFE'' they have became the posterboys for ''Life'' in recent years whereas if you exit sub-saharan Africa everything is toxic you will enter a competitive world where different powers a competiting with each other and Africa serves nowadays as a bufferzone that is free from all that..

sub-saharan Africa and the Africans are the most less toxic people on earth period.. Simple people it's about life for them many people outside the continent they appreciate that alot because they are tired of the constant competitive in their own parts of the world.

In development and rank.. India has replaced Africa 2 decades ago but it has only become apparent to people 5 years ago.. India is the worlds' biggest cesspool coming from someone who has travelled thru out sub-Saharan Africa and India there is no comparison

I think Southeast Asia and Latin America are similar zones where there is far less competition and political toxicity and nationalism than in regions like Eurasia and North America, where the traditional power centers are.

India has made some progress with cities like Gurgaon, Gurugram and Noida, but the country as a whole remains very underdeveloped and chaotic.

Rwanda however is a posterboy today of African excellence. Hopefully it can set a standard which can be followed by other African countries.

Gurugram is just the new name of Gurgaon. Gurgaon was in Haryana state which is ruled by the BJP. To them "Gurgaon" was not Hindu enough so they decided to make it more Hindu.

Example you got Indonesia in Southeast Asia that is a major predator.. Including Malaysia, Singepore, Brunei and Vietnam all predators the only relaxing nation is Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.. You also got Australia and New Zealand who have imperialist undertones.. The area is definitely full of competitors..

In Latin America you got Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Venezuala including Mexico the only peaceful countries are Peru and Boliva due to native people who you could assume aren't inside the circle of competition

Sure, but those countries are still a lot less hateful to one another than in Eurasia.

Urban India is indeed chaotic and competitive, but rural parts are far far better. In fact many wealthy urban Indians fantasize about earning lots of money quickly and relocating to quasi-rural areas as an early retirement, which ironically worsens the competitive nature and sucks them into it.

Anyway, this thread is not about India. Really admire Rwanda for coming out of the civil war mess. I look forward to Africa realising it true potential, for Africans first and foremost. Would love to visit its many countries once this nasty Covid thing subsides.

I have a good feeling about countries like Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia. To some extent even Nigeria, but sometimes I feel it behaves like south Asia. Maybe African countries need to form a visa union like Schengen so that for a visitor it is easy to travel to multiple countries together on a single visit. This will really ease the tourist inflow.

Maybe African countries need to form a visa union like Schengen so that for a visitor it is easy to travel to multiple countries together on a single visit. This will really ease the tourist inflow.

Best countries to be in and working in terms of good governance, is Botswana, Namibia. Tanzania is a great country; very vibrant. Kenya .. good but man security wise very very bad.

Nigeria... it is a hell hole. Beyond redemption; if you think they can dig a deep hole and it is the end of it; they are ingenious in digging a deeper one the next year. A true basket case and sick man of Africa.
