I was hoping to start a discussion to see what members of these forums think in regards to all of this.

This is from a Pro-Rebel source however, so it might be exaggerated.

" Total Civilians: 90506 civilians,
including:
15948 children

10540 females over the age of 18

These statistics do not include also the more than 5000 abductees from the civilians and fighters inside ISIS jails from Deir Ezzor tribes who were kidnapped from their areas.

This statistics also do not include the fate of 1500 kidnapped persons by the rebel and Islamic factions, the “Islamic State” organization, Fath al-Sham Front on charges of loyalty to the regime.

The statistics also do not include hundreds of non-Syrian Kurdish fighters who were killed fighting with YPG in Syria."

I edited the text a little bit to just include civilians. Not sure if the 1500 kidnapped persons by the rebel and Islamic Factions are Civilians but the text i took out from there were about 4500 Captives and missing of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them.

Anyway,....When will MSM and human rights groups stop claiming that hundreds of thousands of Civilians have been killed? It's true that hundreds of thousands of people have been killed. But whenever i listen to reports, debates and etc from the Pro-Rebel side, They always talk about the Number, as if it's all Civilians that have been killed and It's all the Syrian Governments fault. They don't Mention that the biggest number of those killed are in fact from the Syrian Arab Army and groups loyal to them, followed by rebel and Islamist groups.
Now it's a horrible thing that over 90000 civilians have been killed, if that is the real number.
Even 1 civilian being killed is horrible.

But isn't what we hear from the media, and even on these forums, misinformation? I mean, they quote the same source as I've used, which is from the SOHR. Yet they don't mention that it's no where near hundreds of thousands civilians killed.

Then we have people who said there were more than 250000 civilians in eastern Aleppo, which turned out not to be true. This is just one headline from an Article from November 17th from the Washington Post, By Laila Maher Soudi, Raed Saleh and Ahmad Tarakji. "More than 250,000 in Eastern Aleppo could die after the next 20 days" And there were SEVERAL similar ones, if you all remember. And no, the civilians weren't killed.

The number of Civilians in eastern Aleppo is thought not to go over 100000 according to the U.N now that the battle is over , which is of course still a huge number. But that's less than half of what was claimed by everyone. Same thing with Daraya, turned out the number claimed there was exaggerated as well and the actual number of Civilians was less than half of that MSM and pro-rebel groups said.

And now we have claims of Mass execution, Genocide, Killing, Rape and etc. They could be true, or not. I'm not going to say what i think, i of course hope it's not true...and i have my doubts that it is.

Anyway,
What do you think in regards to the Misinformation? Because it does also affect these forums in regards to the debates, discussions about Syria.
Should they be more clear and say that over 90000 civilians have been killed instead of saying that hundreds of thousands of people have been killed?
Should they stop using SOHR and other pro-rebel groups such as the white helmets as sources when they are clearly not credible?

Edit: Just added the link to the Washingtonpost article i mentioned in the text.
