Back to topic.Hahaha Glad To see you come back, brother.
Yeah !
Southwest China's Guizhou Province ranked second with a growth rate of 10.8 percent.
It makes sense, it also doesn't make sense. So about 80% of mainland China's landmass has less than $6000 per capital GDP? Still a long way to go. What happens if 100% of China's landmass has at least $8000+ and above per capital GDP? What will China's total nominal GDP be recalculated to be? @Chinese Bamboo @Chinese-Dragon @Shotgunner51 @TaiShang @Martian2 @Beidou2020 @Edison Chen @AndrewJin
Thank uReally Nice Thread @Chinese Bamboo
The Nominal GDP of China Top 5 Provinces Combined is Bigger than Japan Total Nominal GDP.
GDP Nominal of Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Henan Provinces Combined is Bigger than Japan Total GDP.
All honor belong to Abe!!I still Remember like Yesterday, when the News China GDP just Surpass Japan GDP in 2010.
But Today, Japan is Far Behind China. Just need 5 Years, China GDP is Almost 3x Bigger than Japan GDP.
How Fast is That !
Maybe he is crazy at a certain time and is reported.Btw, Why @AndrewJin get Banned? That's man make me Addicted to Chinese Inland City.
It's hard to say but it has reference value. It makes sense, it also doesn't make sense.
The map is about GDP per capita of ALL prefectures.
However, the gap is not that big.
For example, GDP per capita of my city is $16,000 while a prefecture in western Hubei Province only has $2964. But in realty, living standards are similar, because revenues will be redistributed. Bus tickets in both places are 2 yuan each. It's impossible to industrialise all prefectures of a province, hence what u have seen in the map is highly concentrated industrial regions with higher GDP per capita.
Even on the national level, the case is the same. I don't think my living standard in Wuhan is worse than Shenzhen although they have 50% higher GDP per capita than we have. It's not about GDP or some members' favourite PPP.
Livings standards have something to do with GDP per capita, but not all.Thank u
What do you think is the best part in this thread?
The top two combined can reach 2.3T$ this year\(^o^)/~
I hope all province(except some provinces that few people live) can reach 1T$+ in the future
All honor belong to Abe!!
Maybe he is crazy at a certain time and is reported.
On the whole he is great and imformative, but he should be calmer.
It's hard to say but it has reference value.
Have a look at Ordos and Shenmu, their local govs r rich and their average incomes r high.
Then Harbin, income here is low and its GDP is also low, both around 50% to Wuhan.
Gov in a province takes some balance measures may help, but in small cities the income still can't be compared with that in big cities...
Shenzhen? If people work there and buy house in Wuhan, they will eventually live better than Wuhanren(Retire and sell their possessions in Shenzhen, move to Wuhan or counties, then their wealth finally is more than Wuhanren)
Thank u

People in a forum say that poor people in Ordos earn twice the income of Wuhan poor people.Livings standards have something to do with GDP per capita, but not all.
I don't think people in Ordos are rich. Their GDP come from raw materials, the province and central government will get the most profits and redistribute to Tibet, Xinjiang, Guizhou etc. Hence a teacher in Lhasa can get higher salary, even higher than Wuhan.
The best part of this thread is "YOU"
You are the best part of this thread Lol @Chinese Bamboo
Yes, Guangdong and Jiangsu Will Reach 2.3T. Maybe 2.4T. Cannot wait to see it
It's much Bigger than Indian and Russian Economy. Wow, I must say.
Hope More People like Abe in Japan Government
And Japan will become More Far Far Behind than China.
Not just bigger, but the gap is getting larger year after year.Yes, Guangdong and Jiangsu Will Reach 2.3T. Maybe 2.4T. Cannot wait to see it

Yes I said it had referrence value...But Tibet is special, you shouldn't care Tibet's GDP per capita too much, they have special allowance.
※The previous ghost city(in fact it's Ordos' new district) problem is solved.
