New Delhi: Amid the border standoff with China in Eastern Ladakh, India has given a strong message to Beijing: it will not stop developing infrastructure in strategic areas located along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Government sources said on Tuesday that the country’s leadership has taken a decision to this effect in the wake of China's well-coordinated efforts obstruct India’s infrastructure development moves in areas like eastern Ladakh and Sikkim.

The decisions were taken on a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and the three Service Chiefs. Earlier in the day, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh too had chaired a meeting with the CDS and the three Service Chiefs during which a decision was taken to send in more troops to match China’s military strength in areas where standoffs are underway.

The decisions were taken a day before a crucial meeting of top commanders of the Indian Army, which is slated to undertake an in-depth review of the prevailing situation in several areas along the LAC. The three-day conference of the Army top commanders is beginning today (Wednesday).

The Army commanders are likely to focus their deliberations on the evolving situation in eastern Ladakh. As per top military sources, Indian and Chinese troops are engaged in an eyeball-to-eyeball face-off in Pangong Tso, Galwan Valley, Demchok and Daulat Beg Oldie.

The standoff between the armies of India and China had started on the evening of May 5, when troops from both sides indulged in a violent face-off at Pangong Tso lake. Since then, eyeball-to-eyeball situations have developed along several places along the LAC in Ladakh.

With the standoff failing to end even after three weeks, the Army has moved in more troops to sensitive border locations Ladakh as well as in North Sikkim, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh. Sources said the aim behind sending these reinforcements and beef up deployment is to tell China that India will not buckle under aggressive military posturing by Beijing anymore.

It has been learned that during his meeting, Defence Minister Singh told the military leadership to carry on with key projects along the LAC, underlining that there was no need for a review amid the standoff with China. Such key projects along the LAC are underway in Ladakh, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh.

If Pakistanis want to read unreliable Indian media and idiots like ajai Shukla, that is their right. I prefer to go look at satellite imagery analyzed by actual independent experts.

It's clearly visible in these satellite images obtained from respected sources that there is only an incursion at one point about 500 m or so.

But if Pakistanis want to take Indian media so seriously, well then local Kashmiri journalist Ashraf Wani went less than 20 km from the LAC. footage obtained by India Today clearly shows forward bases along the Pangong Tso and Galwan occupied by Indians with the Indian flag flying high. So how can Chinese have occupied 35 km? It is pathetic how Pakistanis are defending their sugar daddies because they cannot do anything else to India. The fact is, China failed to stop Indian infra projects in disputed territories, and the satellite images show they failed to make significant incursions. And even Chinese themselves aren't making these ridiculous claims, only butthurt Pakistanis are defending Chinese Aukaat.

Why do Chinese keep doing it? First giving pakistani hope and then breaking their heart. We saw that happening during Doklam and it just happened again. Pakistani faith in iron biradar is eroding fast.
Actually it is pakistan that backstabbed china by not opening any front. This time it was supposed to be 3 fronts with china and nepal already opening there and were waiting for pakistan to open there front. But all in vain because imran khan did opened a front but on twitter, and chinese and nepalese had a facepalm. And then chinese had to wrap up and started talking about peace and talks. Nepalese had to wrap up their maps in parliament. Both said thank you to pakistan.

Pakistan just lost the opportunity to annex kashmir, sad.

So the hindus drive confidence from their own trashy media.

Brutally targeting this hindutva menace is the only option.

The hindutvas have failed miserably to deal with Pakistan, they think they can beat China.

Pakistan and China should give them a 2.5 front war which they so fervently desire. An absolute mutilation of this hindutva state must be the end goal.

Chinese are curiously silent on this aggression by India

Actually, Nathan Ruser was the one who first showed evidence questioning india's claims during Balakot. But thanks for changing the subject.
