High Tension at border: Chinese troops hold 100 Indian soldiers

Ladakh: Chinese troops once again intruded into Indian border ahead of President Xi Jinping's vist to India. The recent incident of intrusion was reported in Chumur district in Ladakh.

According to Bhaskar news, at least 300 soldiers of People's Liberation Army (PLA) have currently held 100 Indian jawans and are not letting them go.

Earlier, on Sunday, the reports of Chinese troops entering inside India upto 500 meters border had emerged. This year till August, Chinese army have intruded nearly 334 times in India.

It is notable that Chinese President Xi Jinping is meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday on September 17. He will start his tour to India from Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

In the meanwhile, after the recent incident of intrusion, tension has gripped the region as Chinese army have held Indian soldiers. According to sources, in Demchok region near the Indo-China border, both nations have sent more soldiers.

Recently some 30 Chinese soldiers had invaded 500 meters area of Demchok in Ladakh on September 11. Thereafter, 70 officers of Indo Tibetan Border Police were deploye to face the Chinese army.

According to reports, around 300 Chinese troops of People's Liberation Army (PLA) have surrounded some 100 Indian soldiers and barred their mobilisation. This incident has been reported from Chumur area in Ladakh. To confront the Chinese troops that entered the Indian territories on Sunday, around 70 Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel have been deployed in the area. Sources say that both the countries have sent more soldiers to the face-off site at Demchok.
