Chinese passengers being threatened to behave in Beijing-Shanghai bullet train

. .
If you smoke in the train or criticize the govt. you can go to Jail, your can be disqualified from getting a loan or even using the train or flight in the future.

Amazing china and its "progress" that will turn humans into robots.

And the best part is, most chinese will come here and ask, what is wrong with this. lol.

Good move.

At least an effort to educate the citizens is being made. Negative reinforcement is a very well established model of learning too.

Your post is really illogical

Literally see nothing wrong with this!
In fact if anything, I wish Indian govt. could wield such authority to control the spitting, pissing, letching, groping and other vile behavior on public transportation that Indians take as "BAU" (Business as usual).
Fear is the only way to change the behavior of Indians who treat the country like a fucking toilet.
I commend China for this. They know how to get their citizens in order.
India can learn something from China in this regard.

Sorry but I prefer a well behaved, well mannered Robot to many of the samples Ive seen growing up in India.

Theres a lot to criticize about China, this isn't one of them.

I actually endorse this.

Until it is applied to you, of course.

"Educate"? The government can literally look into a person's private life and mete out punishment based on anything that is perceived "out of line"; how is this anything other than state-sponsored control of individuals?

Indians are fed up with the ultra freedom that is provided by the government of India which is abused by people time and again.

Hence Indians admire and appreciate the restrictions that are placed and enforced on freedom in countries like US & China.

Is this a joke? Restrictions on freedom in the name of "orderly conduct" is a slippery slope that sooner or later leads to encroachment of basic human rights, all sponsored by those who are exempt from the system (i.e. its creators).

And relinquishing all of ones duties while claiming all the rights is even worse. You have to live in India to know why Indians admire China and US.

There needs to be a delineation between basic rules & regulations and state-controlled systems that monitor & "assess" civilians. The social rating system that you support is an example of the latter.

Would you support doing away with the system of credit scores? Are you okay with people taking loans and defaulting on them with no repercussions?

How will you feel when you bought a ticket for public transport only to realize that your seat has been taken by a passenger who did not buy a ticket at all.

Are you the guy who claims that China never report the vaccine scandal and ask the Chinese posters here to relay the information to their families in China? That is still my favorite joke this year.

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/fresh-scandal-erupts-over-vaccine-safety-in-china.569054/

Check this out , this Akasa guy is the biggest joke on PDF.

Do you guys think this action should not be punished, a high speed train must exactly on time to ensure safe operation and this train can not leave the station long after the scheduled time, it could cause collision and put other passengers lives in danger. Discipline is needed.

Who is a citizen?

The word citizen denotes :"a person who is a member of a particular country and who has rights because of being born there or because of being given rights, or a person who lives in a particular city or a town."

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/citizen

How does a citizen get these rights?

The rights of the citizen are borne out of and assured by the various rules, regulations and acts of the legislative bodies as applicable, of a Nation State. Therefore, it can be concluded that for a Citizen to be a Citizen, a Nation State has to exist, and this Nation State enacts all the rules and regulations to define who is it's citizen and guarantees all the rights and privileges to it's citizens as per the very same rules and regulations, and which remain bound by the very same set of regulations.

Having said that, a State has to remain in perpetuity for it to be able to afford the same to it's citizens. And any act/instance which threatens the existence of the state, needs corrective/pre-emptive measures. Therefore, a Nation State must intervene as required, in order to maintain itself as a viable state, thereby ensuring survival, as a result - confirming the rights and privileges of it's citizens .

Now if you delve into what is called the crowd psychology, Le Bon, Freudian and Depersonalisation Theories, just to name a few, have inherent chaos as a result of a crowd being left unchecked. This one can see occurring every day in every country. US - the rampant shootings, in India - stone pelting from Jammu & Kashmir to the recent train accident near Amritsar as a mark of protest even before the area could be cleared or the systematic destruction of public property by majority who do not pay any tax for every imagined slight/issue, the systematic dis-assembly of the Pakistani Society in garb of upholding Islam, riots in Paris every other day, Taharrush incidents in Germany & Egypt etc. Now imagine the difference between India, with a population of 1.3 Billion and China, with an approximate population of same amount, in terms of crowd control and respect of the public properties. Just visit the two countries, and you will get exactly what is the difference. Negative reinforcement are, after all, a very effective model of correcting undesired characteristics of behaviour.

I do not find anything wrong in the State working to maintain it's integrity and survivability if it means to check the turbulence generated out of mob violence, mob psychology detrimental to the existence of the State and perceived commonality of objectives. Conversely, as a citizen, I do not find anything wrong in my State observing my activities, my financial transactions and my expressions both public and private as long as it does not interfere in matters of my own concern which do not concern either the environment, the public properties, any other citizen or breaking of any laws/undermining the national security.
