Chinese Muslim student warns his college for separate Halaal dining room

Okay tell me how is halal better than jhatka. The benefits you mentioned in slaughtering halal way is also applicable to jhatka process. In this way too all the nerves and spine, trachea etc gets cut off. The blood is also drained out.

What is the difference then?
Explain more about "Jhatka" as I dont know clearly how it is done...Do you surprise the animal? If yes then the post from rajahchola comes to play that the fear hormone is spread all over the meat....

If it is not then there is probably no difference..

.
You should teach this 'Jhataka' to your Hindu brothers do in Nepal

Lmaooo Nepali hindus chasing cows all over the field but yeah this is the peaceful way of doing it.

You can clearly see jhatka being done above. The animals look so peaceful.

Nepalis killing cows right in front of other dead cows.

In fact its just opposite. In jhatka the animal does not even get time to realize what happened to him. He is pampered and then all of a sudden it is beheaded.

I have seen videos of Eid Qurbani. The way animal's legs are tied and the way its neck is streched, it understands that something bad is gonna happen. It is bound to release toxins and fear hormones.

So there is no difference and slaughtering in the Halal way is painless and thus correct..... I like this thinking :P

I would use the term respected instead. Or encouraged to be comfortable. The laws apply as much to them in any major crime etc...
Unfortunately he is right. In most case Uyghur thief can be released by police without any punishment, only pale "education/warning "

As you live in China i can not argue with you but as I said things get better slowly. Most Uyghur people are more interested in setting up restaurants for BBQs then stealing and for muslim tourists they are a blessing.

Depends ..usually what is done in S.Asia is cruel-ish....

That is why we get ours done by EXPERTS not some random person ....when you said violin we understood you had no clue what Qurbani is...
Halal means reciting some quranic verses and playing violin with knife on animal's neck.

The hindu festival in Nepal is one of its kind. Noone likes it. Poor animals are slaughtered in front of others. This does not happen in regular slaughter house.
The difference here is what has been taught to what people are doing. That is why I said study about it rather then look at something and judge it. The practical application has been forgotten by many butchers at times such as Eid in a rush to make money.

Yes you are right. That's why we don't think terrorist will have a market in China.

That violin comment was in jest. I fully know what Qurbani is.

good to know then you can probably see differences and similarities....why raise the question if you know both sides (Jhatka and Qurbani)?

The laws "DO NOT" apply as much to them in any major crime etc...

So the traffic cameras will not take a picture of their car breaking the signal and killing people is okay. The issue is major crimes which u miss, and as a foreigner who has visited China i know that one can make mistakes but that is because of cultural differences and not disrespect. But then again you live there i can not argue with u :P and now I need to visit a certain lao ban since laws do not apply to me as much :P

You know what my friends, no matter you guys execute the animals halally or jhatkaly, you're 100 times better than the Japanese dolphin-killing festival. I will say the same words even if I'm not Chinese.
Recently there is a news in China about how Japanese showing "respect of life" in front of their children: by killing and cooking the pig the children depastured themselves.
