Why do SOME Indians jump in without reading:

For 4-legged herbivores and birds (who dont eat meat) to be halal on us we need to kill them with 1 single cut of a sharp knife which should cut the following: spine, severe the nerves (cut off feelings) , cut the trachea (cut of breathing) and the jugular vein (major vein in the neck which will allow quick outflow of unwanted blood)...

Explain more about "Jhatka" as I dont know clearly how it is done...Do you surprise the animal? If yes then the post from srinivas comes to play that the fear hormone is spread all over the meat....

Actually speaking preparing the animal to kill will make the animal berserk and due to that lot of harmful hormones will be released.

If it is not then there is probably no difference..

I would use the term respected instead. Or encouraged to be comfortable. The laws apply as much to them in any major crime etc...
