16-17 ton is pretty weak. Bangladesh got their tanks with 800hp engine package for cost reduction. Which backfired.Indian Pt-76 had around 16-17 hp/ton....they couldn't operate properly in Bangladeshi terrain....mbt2000 has 26hp/ton...it should operate fine in BD....we still don't why the Army complained....the only tank within our acquirable range that has similar mobility is the T90(if we stick a 1200 hp engine into it).
But then who uses heavy tanks these days. MBT all the way.i read somewhere BD terrain is not suitable for heavy tanks its right ?
Oh I meant to say Boeing offered em to India. Obviously rejected. You will never see like that offer even if Americans willed to sell something. Because we bargain too much.Boeing never offered Bangladesh anything. They were just going for a joy ride, that's all. The Americans will never sell any combat fighter aircraft to Bangladesh. Particularly under this administration, period.

Yes, they are fast!
Obviously it won't work on a paddy field quite so well. But then I don't think our terrain is as unsuitable as in Russia. And guess what. They make tanks in spite of it.Most of the BD terrain are not suitable for any tanks!
