Good point. Humans and animals are not the same, though some white folks will argue otherwise! white people are of a different breed, they see dogs as not animals, but friends and family members who they would grow very attached to emotionally, spiritually, and more often than not sexually. This is the reason why bestiality is prevalent in the US and Europe, a term man's best friend really takes on a whole new meaning-- perhaps call it man's lover?
When you start to see this from the white man's pov, you will understand why they get so emotional and riled up when they hear news of OTHER people, in OTHER cultures, in OTHER countries treating these dogs in ways that they can not relate to.
