Chinese Austalians flock to cheer for team China and make Chinese basketball team feel like playing at home

Yes, so you think thousands of Chinese students went there to cheer for China, some even with their kids? due to the pandemic, Tourists from China are almost impossible so who do you think they are?

Also, number wise, every 1 Chinese Visa holder to 3 Australian Chinese. Those are a very big odds those people weren't Australian.

And finally

Asian is getting better because of the economy is also getting better. You need to have sport competition that is funded by private sector in order to have great national team in every sport

Just remember that Japan women met with USA women in Final Olympic Games Tokyo

Again, that's what you are wrong. Visa holder not just about Student or Tourist, anyone Chinese with any visa ARE NOT CONSIDERED Chinese-Australian. That included work visa, tourist visa, spouse visa, parental visa, student visa, and yes even PERMANENT VISA.

A lot of Chinese PR Holder decided not to take out Australian Citizenship to keep their Chinese Citizenship, and then a lot of Chinese PR holder could not because they don't meet the English level or didn't pass the test.

That number would have been pushing Chinese Visa holder to Chinese Australian more than 1 to 3. I don't have any solid data now, but it is most likely pushing it to 1 to 1 or similar ratio.

So I will ask you again, how do you know they are Chinese Australian?

US demolished the Chinese by 22 points, and they benched their starter in 4th quarter.....

Again, that's why I don't like Women Basketball, no offence to the Women, but it's just not competitive enough, US win like EVERYTIME, you may as well give them the medal before the tournament. I mean if competitive sport not being competitive, it's not a good spectacle.

It's the title says so, if you call them Chinese students , permanent residents or whatsoever, it's ok, their number is so big and turned the arena a Chinese place, pretty impressive, aren't they?

US is blessed with peoples from different races, some races are better than other races on certain sports, it's a known fact. our girls already did a very good job, we are proud of them anyway.

Actually, if you watch the game highlight. There are a lot more Australian than chinese.

As I said, there are at most 2 or 3 thousand Chinese. Sydney Superdome have a capacity of 21,000 seat. And there are 12000 attendee on that game.

It is not a Chinese place.

US is too strong, but the competition is basically to get second position.

That Plum is the best US "white" basketball player.

I still enjoyed the game despite they destroy Indonesian team,
