Okay, so it is a real question that many people wonder about. You say, the question was NOT asked when Pakistan sold the plane to Nigeria. Makes sense because it is supposed to be Pakistan's plane. So when Pakistan sells Pakistan's plane nobody questions it. Some might even have said good job, bet Nigeria will buy a hundred more....don't know who that person was. When China sells what is supposed to be Pakistan's plane people, large numbers of them, ask what is going on.

Aren't the Eurofigher, Typhoon or Rafale corporate or corporate conglomerate planes? If Rafale is sold isn't it the French based defence firm Dassault doing the selling NOT France?

JF17 as the name implies JF(Joint Fighter) was a JV between China and Pak. The reason u don't see the equivalents of "Dassault" doing the selling and not France...is bcuz in both countries(China/Pak)...state institutions developed the jet and not private companies. In any case..in defense matters regardless of the private corporation the government holds the final sway. For example Lockheed, Boeing, Northrop, etc. can't sell their products without US government approval. US government signs defense contracts with other countries to sell to...and then awards the contract to the manufacturer of that product.

As for why China's team is there...the same happened in case of Myanmar...while in other cases we see Pakistan selling it to Nigeria...
...a JV of both countries...can be sold by either country...and it's not a problem bcuz the details of profit sharing/workshare/etc. were all worked out long ago between China/Pak.

Let us think of a way to shoot down aircraft carrier Elizabeth and damn all F35 on it. Basically JF17 equipment with CM-400AKG can fly with all legacy fighters forming a swarm approaching the Elizabeth. It will confuse the F35.

If one Jf17 get close enough firing CM-400AKG, thats it.

BTW F35 (probably future) best AAM the meteor has less range than CM-400AKG. So before F35 can attack JF17, Elizabeth will be sunk.

This is an hypothetical scenario. In real world, of course the Argentin need advance AWAC and EW planes to pull this off.

Besides the JF-17 does not have the legs to make an impression as a maritime fighter.
The Argentinian fighter purchase is likely intended to make a few corrupt officials wealthy and not really a serious effort at boosting Argentina’s defense posture.

nobody in Pakistan wants to find out happens when Argentina goes to war with them either, they have no business in that fight, they are just happy to get some more exports for our fighter. The Chinese members might have a different opinion.
