Yup too many Superheroes movies of them falling through glass roofs isn't good for the mind

laminated glass is very strong but sandwitching them together makes the panel stronger it would take alot to break the glass

They're very strong, but the weak point may not be the glass, it could be the attachment of the glass to the metal frame. There was a Canadian guy who used to demonstrate how strong the glass in this building was, and he'd run full speed into the glass window to everyone's gasp. He did it many times, until one time the glass separated from the frame, and he fell to his death.
