China Showcases New Weapons After South China Sea Judgement

China has unveiled a range of new weapons that include long-range missiles and others for sea and air combat amid calls by its top officials to be combat-ready following UN-backed tribunal verdict which stuck down China’s rights in South China Sea.

The Southern Theatre Command of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) which looks after the South China Sea front has unveiled a series of new weapons during a visit by top military officers.

The weapons were shown on state television in the wake of international tribunal rejecting Beijing's claims to almost all of the South China Sea and upheld the claim of the Philippines, PTI reported Friday.

Military experts said the rare public display was intended to show that the newly formed Southern Theatre Command, was well- prepared for any potential military confrontation with the US, Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post reported today.

The display conceded with the visit to the centre by General Fan Changlong, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), China's highest military official after President Xi Jinping. Xi heads the CMC and the overall high command of the PLA.

Fan has called on troops to be ready for combat and for improvements in equipment and logistical preparation.

Officers and soldiers need to be aware of current threats to China's sovereignty, security and interests; state-run Xinhua news agency quoted him as saying in an official statement.

He asked the military to research combat methods and strategies pertinent to different situations and foster Special Forces reserved for key missions and scenarios.

Now these weapons are awaiting for the US to grow some balls, but US balls are become loose and gonna fall off.

Chinese People sacrificed a lot, if we talk about the Opium Wars in which almost 105000 Chinese lost their lives or the boxer rebellion in which almost 150000 Chinese lost their lives and also lets not forget the xinhai revolution in which almost 250000 Chinese were wounded/dead. And in Warlord Era in which 910000 Chinese lost their lives. And lets not forget the world war 2 in which 14 million Chinese lost their lives. And their are lots of lots of conflicts that occurred due to the western conspiracies that I have not mentioned in here, and indeed they are also important ones, so I urge my Chinese brothers to share some of those accounts with us in here.
The reason behind sharing this data was to open the eyes of those who criticize China for claiming the almost 90% of south China sea's territory. Chinese People already sacrificed a lot, their Government simply want to have a good life for Chinese People, free of conflicts, free of worries, who would want a bully like US in its backyard, mobbing around just to show how mighty US is. China is doing this simply to keep US at its bay. US has no right to Patrol in these waters, US is provoking other Nations to take a stand against China and for what? So that it can have its own share from the resources in south China sea, and not only that, but to start a conflict with China?
