China scuttles India's bid to enter NSG

Stay in your limits with the lies................ this isn't Times of India that you can get away with false propaganda!

It is a well known fact that Pakistan do not need to detonate the ready made bomb !

Counter my argument instead of becoming agitated and giving negative ratings !

Why China Helped Countries Like Pakistan, North Korea Build Nuclear Bombs - US News

Pakistani nuclear scientist's accounts tell of Chinese proliferation

Who Created Pakistan's Nuclear Arsenal? | Jamyang Norbu

I never become agitated....... there is no need to counter something that has been countered at least one thousand times before....... for a little heads up, I'll let you know that the Chinese Nuclear Fuel Cycle has a lot to thank us and not the other way round......... how's that for a fact?

Now, on topic........ China didn't shaft you on the NSG membership bid, it's the US of A that played it's cards in a way that it left you guys in such a position...... from the day you were given a waiver, America hyped up your expectations for a full fledge membership, then at the same time it started pitting you against China in a very well orchestrated way under it's China encirclement policy..... knowing full well what was to follow............. now, just like in Hollywood movies, the plot will thicken and you'll find the good ol' US of A with a tissue paper in it's hands, ready to wipe your tears......

It's sad to see that such a huge nation such as India has the mental intellect of a two year old child when it comes to geopolitics.

It is a well known fact that Pakistan do not need to detonate the ready made bomb !

Dude, stay in your limits with the lies................ this isn't Times of India that you can get away with false propaganda!
You should raise that with the Americans then

(S/NF) During the June 7 U.S.-China Consultation on Arms Control and Nonproliferation (ref A), Acting Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation Frank Record provided Chinese Foreign Ministry Director General for Arms Control Zhang Yan with additional information on Chinese national Gao Yiming's efforts to supply Pakistan's unsafeguarded nuclear program with an aluminum production line that could assist Pakistan's development of an indigenous capability to manufacture uranium centrifuge components (refs B and C). For informational purposes, Washington would like to provide Embassy Beijing a copy of the interagency-cleared non-paper provided to DG Zhang.

¶2. (S/Rel China) Begin non-paper. -- We raised with your Government in January 2006 that Chinese national Gao Yiming was engaged in efforts to provide enrichment-related items to Pakistan's unsafeguarded nuclear program. -- In particular, we shared that Gao was coordinating the supply of an aluminum production line from China's Taiyuan Heavy Industry Company. -- We are troubled to have received reports that the transfer of this aluminum production line to Pakistan's unsafeguarded nuclear program continues to move forward. -- Our information indicates that Taiyuan Heavy Industry Company recently received a payment associated with the extrusion press contract and that the entities involved are now involved with preliminary shipping details. -- Additionally, another Chinese entity, China Nonferrous Metals Processing Technology (CNPT) Company, Ltd., is also involved in the transaction. CNPT is located at No. 1 Xiyuan Rd., Luoyang, Henan. -- We would also like to make you aware that the contract may identify the buyer of the equipment as a Pakistani metal works firm, rather than Pakistan's unsafeguarded nuclear program. -- We continue to be very concerned about the transfer of this aluminum production line to the recipient country's unsafeguarded nuclear program. As we shared with you in January, the production line could be used for the production of thick-walled aluminum tubes, which could assist the recipient country's development of an indigenous capability to manufacture uranium centrifuge components such as outer casings, molecular pumps, crash rings and cascade piping. -- The Basic Principle as prescribed in the NSG Guidelines asks NSG Participating Governments not to authorize transfers of items that would contribute to a nuclear explosive activity or an unsafeguarded nuclear fuel cycle activity or, in general, where there is an unacceptable risk of diversion to such an activity. We believe you would agree that the transfer to an unsafeguarded nuclear program of such an aluminum production line would meet this level of concern. -- We would also like to underscore our previously stated concerns that this transaction would be inconsistent with China's 1996 pledge to not assist unsafeguarded nuclear facilities anywhere. -- We urge you to re-double your efforts to act upon the additional information we have provided by taking aggressive steps to prevent this transfer from going forward. We are very seriously concerned that as the transfer proceeds, our window to stop this export is closing. We encourage you to make every effort to stop this transaction now.

Wise move by China. Allowing India into NSG would mean allowing India to bring qualitative and quantitative improvements to it's nuclear arsenal........which would be a highly destablising factor for the regional security paradigms. The importance of India for the western world is only that of a pawn, which is to be utilized to counter China. China acting ahead of time should continue to block Indian presence from all the world's influential designations.

If India gets NSG membership despite Chinese objections, then It is Chinese loss .... they not only lost a good neighbour but also India will be in USA's camp firmly.

I feel this is the game plan of USA, because they want India to counter China in Asia.

It is Chinese fault to oppose India, NSG membership for India won'f affect China, any way India has Indo-US civilian nuclear deal an unofficial NSG membership !

Chinese needs to be careful here when it comes to India related matters !

So you think we helped Pakistan gain nuclear weapons?

Yet we are one of the only 5 NPT-recognized nuclear weapons states in the world (the same 5 who are permanent members of the UNSC).

That would be pretty incredible if it were true.

Like I said earlier, raise that with the Americans.

In Coming Decades India will be So big not to Became Anybody's Pawn.

1. Not how such memberships work - there is no such thing as India getting membership in spite of Chinese objections.
2. Of course it affects China in a HUGE way, it frees up India's stockpile of fissile material. Now connect the dots on what it means......

I can even predict exactly how this is going to go down....... you'll have to amend your ABC agreement, agree to FMCT etc etc.... all things you didn't want to do from the get go.....

Why was all this done - why you got played in this way? Want me to explain that as well as the bigger picture didn't even have to do anything with China.............

From where I stand, you'll need to overtax your grey matter, maybe even burn through it to get even 1% of what actually happened to you guys....... forget using your brains for extrapolating as you people are highly emotianal when it comes to NSG, UNSC, MTCR this group and that group....... you just seek greatness, whereas greatness never comes to those who seek it, it comes to those who can handle it.........
