I can understand China being a very strong adversary - the only other emerging power globally after US. But what about Pak? I don't think Pak has done anything in recent times to actually be in same league as India. Yes, we lost an aging dinosaur era jet. We have been making foray into Mars and moon (successful or not), trying to build our own vaccine, we will learn a lot from it's usage and application. if we deal with brain drain, lot of talents will be building the Indian future. Just look at the Silicon valley and NASA - filled with Indians (I should say ex-Indians or Indian origin). The most successful ethnic community in US are Indian origin people.
After BJP came to power, there has been social unrest and some societal issues - let's not pretend Pak is any better. 20 years back, India's GDP was 6x above Pak, now it's about 9.5x even after 2020 recession. This gap will just keep expanding. You make fun of Indians - but look at you. Does anyone outside Pak even care about PSL? IPL for all it's faults is 100x more popular worldwide. We also have an wonderful football league as well. Our healthcare needs to improve a lot, but pak citizens had visited India for medical treatment. I don't think you lot have much to criticise us when your country is in a greater mess. You come to Bangalore, you will literally find almost every IT company in the world. before our clash with China, even Chinese companies invested a lot. FDI in Pak is about 2.5 billion, compared to like 57 billion in India. China obviously is much higher. Do you want to keep showing off by talking about a Mig 21?

I think progress of a nation depends on economy/education/healthcare/social measures not this dick-measuring of fighter jets. Most jets and submarines retire without even being involved in a war. I feel envious of China's HSR network, their EV revolution not their J-20's. I don't think any rational Indian wants a war with Pak but we also don't feel envious of anything currently in Pakistan.

Moody's revises India's growth projection to 13.7% for FY22; expects contraction of 7% this fiscal (livemint.com).

To put things into perspective - GDP growth of a single year will be more than the entire GDP of Pak. Please ask Imran to waste less on Army and more on economy. I will root for you!

It's actually about 11-13% GDP growth that various international financial institutes are predicting - compared to only 4% for Pakistan. You should have read the article.
Like I said, in FY 2021, in a single year India's GDP will grow more than entire GDP of Pak.
