What's new

China needs to worry about effect of India industrial transfer on production chain

yes atually this makes sense- because some1 who can induce a revolution economically- is going to need to have the political clout to do so.

Deng built his legacy on the foundation that Mao laid. Without Mao's ruthless revolution and land reform, among other achievements, Deng could never have turned a divided, feudal, superstitious, illiterate and sick nation into today's China.

As for chinese on pdf please remember where were you even 10 years back
Where we were 10 years back? Ok, let me tell you where we were 10 years back:
- toilet is NO scarcity to ordinary people

- beautiful girls could walk alone safely on the city streets after 10 or 11pm

- Mortality rate for under-5 children (per 1,000 live births) is 19. (FYI, the same rate for India by 2015 is 50)

- Sufficient power supplies even to the poorest families

- ~50,000 km expressway network, e.g. driving time Shanghai to Beijing reduced to ~12 hours (1,200 km long).

- 63 medals won in the 2004 summer Olympics, 32 gold, 17 silver and 14 bronze

- illiterate rate about 5% (most of the illiterate people are those elders who born before the foundation of PRC). BTW, when we Chinese talk about illiterate, those who can only write or read few characters, e.g. own names, are still counted as illiterate, like my grandmother. An un-illiterate person should at least be able to read the newspapers, like the following one:

What's their literacy criteria? Writing names? I've heard their primary education is totally divided and corrupt.

im not too sure about Singapore airlines, but Singpost did (our national postal service provider) http://www.singpost.com/

I have argued alot of times on the phone with those atrociously uncomprehensible, inadudible, heavily-accented voices behind the phonelines
I understand exactly what you mean.
I once talked to one india customer servcie guy who sounded like the call center guy in "Transformer".

I feeled like talking to a psychosomatic woman .

Oh is it ? Did the power projects kick off ?
How much of CPEC is completed ? Give me exact percentage completion instead of random links. CPEC just started and pitching that it will transform whole of Pakistan is a pre-mature conclusion. By the time CPEC completes India would have drawn in all major manufacturing players. CPEC is a project to create jobs and wealth for the Chinese. Pakistan doesn't have the skill level to supply to a project this huge. So after creating everything in CPEC will you import it back to china ?

The projects were started last year in 2015 , 10,000 MW of electricity will be added to the national grid by 2017. More will be starting this year and onwards. Pakistan is a population of 200 million (world's 6th most populous country) and the world's 7th largest pool of scientists and engineers in the world, you're naive to assume that Pakistan doesn't have the expertise. All workers, specialists, engineers are Pakistani along with local Pakistani contractors being hired, they are coupled with supervisors from China from the Chinese companies involved in these projects. You can come on ground and see the situation, Pakistan has been an operator of civilian nuclear power plants since the decade of 1970's, with first Nuclear plant being operated by Pakistan since last 43 years. Here are the links of coal power project, solar power projects and nuclear plants already being constructed. Please don't watch too much zee news , will affect your reasoning ability.

Chashma's 3rd and 4th nuclear reactor , Chashma 1 and 2 were already operational since more than a decade I believe.

Everything is just 'being done being done'...what was done till now ? There are several reports that Chinese workers are working in several projects. Don't try to cheat around. CPEC brings much wanted infrastructure to Pakistan but there is a huge cost. Without jobs and money getting generated for the Chinese I do not see a reason them getting involved this much just to uplift Pakistan.

FYI...we just inaugurated the world's largest solar power plant.

I don't know whether you are an illiterate or not. Just googling more will tell you the truth. If ours is not the largest power plant then whose is ?

648 MW for a solar power plant is very impressive. Congratulations.
