NASA will still operate on ISS, but Earth orbital space stations are old news. There’s only so much know how to gain from near earth orbital space stations and NASA has been doing it for decades.
NASA is now focusing on landing humans back on the Moon in a few years under the Artemis program. SLS for Artemis 1 is now nearly fully stacked for launch at the end of the year.

That’s not to mention what’s taking place at Starbase in Boca Chica. It’s likely we’ll both see a Starship/Super Heavy orbital launch and Artemis 1 uncrewed mission to the Moon by the end of the year.
Next: domination of chip manufacturingThank you america.

US will surely try offer China access to ISS but with condition of asking China to deorbit this space station.
As Chinese astronauts enter Tiangong space station, those who hype the US’ ‘blockade,’ ‘decoupling’ frustrated: Global Times editorial
Skylab is not the first space station. Salyut is. And. Even if the US plans to land a man on the moon, it will take many years to develop the technology to do that.
Orion and SLS are largely developed. The only major piece left is the human lander/ascender and NASA has already awarded the contract to Starship which is developing rapidly. Americans landing back on the Moon looks likely within the next 3-5 years.

Skylab is just like tiangong 1 and 2. Experimental lab which is too small and limited unlike real big module of Tianhe core.NASA launched its own space station, Skylab, almost 50 years ago and operating the ISS for the last 20+ years.
