China fresh grad monthly salary as below. Tsinghua top at, CNY12,807, around USD2000. As a rule of thumb, there is 2 month bonus for China workers in bigger companies, and so annual salary for Tsinghua grad is around USD 28,000, quite respectable for young people.

These are more or less net of income taxes,i.e. take-home pays。

Assuming a tax rate of 25% and grossing up,the annual salary for an average Tsinghua grad jumps to 37333.33 USD,not bad for a country where an 1-hour foot massage costs 5-10 USD,a haircut 2-3 USD,a 5-stop ride on the subway 0.5 USD。。。。all prices in major east coastal cities。:D

True, i agree ... but truth is more than the data, i believe this just average salary.

I would take some of those stats with a grain of salt, i read back in 2012 average "一本" graduate in Shanghai was earning around 4000, now fresh graduates on that list are making 8500+?! Its hard to imagine salary doubling in less than 3 years.

Edit: I see this list is not for fresh graduates, but the numbers represent the average salary of those who have graduated for 5 years. Misleading title.

Regardless, these are very encouraging stats to show the increase in salary across the board. I have a relative who is a headhunter in Shanghai, at least in Shanghai 200,000RMB+ a year salary is pretty common.
