China FM: China to complete construction plans for Dong Lang (Doklam) subject to local conditions

We stopped Chicom road construction at doklam.

And then ran away without getting nothing in return.

I too agree man this illiterate tea seller with his poor diplomacy skills has failed to stop the $300 million aid , F-16's along with not making Americans to say Pakistan provides safe heavens to terrorists
Jali jali.

What ever you assessment is, as of now all the construction work is halted, chinese and bhutanese armies will patrol the area. If chinese start and construction then Indian army will again block the chinese.

Indian army is 500 meters away from the confrontation site.

I am not assessing anything.

Facts are clear for anyone to see. You retreated and that too without any assurance or concession from China. This is the perfect example of unilateral withdrawal.

Oh it looks like there will be some good cheerleading too in all the rounds :partay:

Why not?

Since you are sure to retreat and lose in that round too. :D

To all members and visitors of Defence.pk

India retreated from Doklam without getting any concession from China on anything.

Let that sink in and never let a modi fanboy tell you otherwise. :)
At least India takes on its enemies not like some shameless people who hide behind others back.

Nope this quotation is as real as it gets, AFP reported it too:
http://m.france24.com/en/20170829-chinese-troops-patrol-border-area-after-india-stand-off

You have been caught with your pants down.

The greater clarity of the quotation in my article is far more informative for us. So because it decisively rebuts your version of reality, you think you can run away from it in desperation, and cherry-pick less clear, more vague earlier statements? And then dishonestly trying to pass it off as the original quotation without revealing the different source at first?

It's problematic that Hindus have a preference for deceit over honesty, circumlocution over directness :disagree:

So you are now denying your own spokespersons remark, denial is not going to change reality, kiddo:disagree:

We will take into account all relevant factors including the weather and we will make plans, including for road construction, in accordance with the situation on the ground." Said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying
The use of words like ground situation, will make plats, relevant factors etc is Chinese tacit admission of defeat at Doklam.
Where did I deny it? Both are statements from the FM. But for a very suspect reason, you prefer the more vague, less informative quotation over the direct quotation that confirms China's resolve to complete construction. It's not a preference many non-Hindus, or honest people, would have.

It's almost like directness and honesty frightens and repels you as much as o :)
Its a direct quotation from your own foreign ministry briefing on 29th August.
Damn, Haans really love to be in denial mode.
I guess they need to update the saying to Bury your head in the sand like an Haan instead of Ostrich.

It is almost like reality humiliates you as much as smile detector on camera.

It applies to many here... You and me are not immune to it...

Now start looking from a neutral point of view (Not thru the view you mentioned)... You Will get a clear picture of you try....

Yes, of course.

But why deduce something from a statement, that it doesn't mention in the first place? Are the Chinese saying that they are going to stop the construction of the contested road? Do they imply it even? Why do we have to rely on "twisted interpretation" and "seeing more than there is" syndrome despite the clear statements?

Previously, there were people on this forum who mentioned how because of diplomatic efforts, the Chinese statement would be suspiciously lacking any mention of the road. I guess there were a few sources also. It didn't happen.

Unless, the Chinese say or imply that they aren't going to construct the road anymore or we don't receive the news that the road been been constructed, in a couple of months. The meaning is very much clear, I am afraid.

See, the Indians may have still achieved their objectives and successfully negotiated to stop the construction of the road. But, that is something, only time can tell. It is just not visible, at this time.

We stopped Chicom road construction at doklam.
The coming SNOW stopped the road construction at Donglang.
Not by the shameless KO by flying kick Indians.
India can come back and try to stop it again next June when the weather will permit construction again.

Bhutan and India relations will never be the same again after this Indian humiliation by China.
Bhutan saw how India had to timidly keep quiet while being lambasted daily by China.
India now had to unceremoniously withdraw without any concessions from China is the final nail in the coffin.
Running away with tails between the legs very aptly describe this cowardly Indian withdrawal.
Only INCREDIBLE INDIANS can call a humiliating loss as a victory for themselves.

Chinese are going to restart road construction after your retreat.

It's official now, the Chinese government spokesperson said that all construction activities in Donglang, including the road, are going to be completed. :enjoy:

And India has given up all their tactical geographic positions by withdrawing, all those positions are now filled with Chinese soldiers.

.
What are those local conditions that have deterred China from building a simple road? Anyway Indian troops are just 150 meters away from Dokhlam and would be watching. Any attempt by China to change the status quo will be stiffly resisted by Indian troops.

All I can say is these kind of statements are for Chinese public consumption.

Before their withdrawawl, Indian troops had an advantageous position in Donglang to block China's road construction, by holding hands and forming a human chain.

But why did they leave? They have given up those strategic positions, which are now all filled with Chinese troops. :enjoy:

Construction is only possible between June and September.
Heavy snow from September onwards and construction can only resume next June.
You wouldn't know since its Chinese territory.
Indian soldiers can come back to be stiffly kicked in the arse next June.
INCREDIBLE SPIN MASTER INDIA.
.

Happy cheerleading dude :D
Obviously talking about yourself, much ?
.

Nope China will never ever start road construction.

And why not, there are no Indians troops left to hold hands and block the construction work, they have all been withdrawn, leaving Chinese troops in control of Donglang. :P

You should ask if China stopped construction work on CPEC after India claimed that it was being built on their territory? Or the South China Sea?
