One one can easily occupy Russia, check the history. US can't even occupy Korea and Vietnam, let alone Russia, but Russia can easily occupy Europe, that's for sure.

sure Russia was undefeated back when human wave tactics were still effective but nowadays a human wave will only result in Russia losing millions while the Americans would lose few dozens of thousands of soldiers.

nowadays war is all about who has the bigger number & size of modern weapons and there really is no comparison between Russia & the US, for instance Russia has 12 or so destroyers all of which are technologicly inferior to that of the US, actually I dont even know why that useless website "Global Fire Power" still ranks Russia as #2 while China is #3 even though China is ahead of Russia in almost every aspect especially the navy surface force.

If not, you dont have any right to lecture anyone.

Onus of making world nuke free remains on the shoulder of 2 super powers US and Russia. And then the secondary powers like china and india will follow. And then rest of the world will just fall in line.

I doubt that...my reason

1. Nuclear weapons are deterrent for some weak/small countries against big ones.....if they goes who will guarantee the security of these countries. In today's world, big countries have economic weapons, space weapons, media/propaganda weapons but poor countries (who just have nuclear weapons to flash) do not have either of these...doubt they will give it up...

2. Does Getting rid of nuclear weapons means...no stocking of weapon grade uranium/plutonium? otherwise, big countries can always make them back in a blink...whereas small/nation (like Pak) will be a looser.

India is always wary of china, and yet if india decides to get rid of nukes, then what justification pakistan will have to keep hold of theirs. You think world will allow that.

Anyways this is never going to happen so i dont see must point in discussing it in detail.

this sends a message to the rest of the world that China has enough trust in its conventional weapons to maintain Chinese security to the point where they are willing to give up nukes if every body else does the same.

ofcourse China knows that a world without nuclear weapons is immposible to achieve, not only because of the US, Britain & France but also because countries like India & Russia would never give up thier nukes without a reduction in the conventional force of the US & China, because...without any exageration in a hypothetical conventional war without nukes China & the US would easily be able to occupy India & Russia respectively.

Nuclear weapon is a great diplomatic tool.

The issue is -- enforcement.

A law is no good if there is no viable method of enforcement. Currently, the only thing we have regarding nuclear proliferation is 'understanding', which is essentially meaningless if a country want to become a nuclear weapons state like how Pakistan and India did it -- surreptitiously.

So who is going to enforce the ban and more importantly -- HOW?

I was saying China was supplying nuclear weapons tech to US enemies like North Korea and then wants the US to ban nuclear weapons.

You then said the US supplied Pakistan with nuclear technology. So are you saying you are an enemy of China?

If there's no nuclear weapons, there will be wars among big countries.


Some people say, nuclear weapon peace is just a fake peace.

Real peace is came from human itself.

It's just a matter of time, before all the chain reaction of human small but many conflicts will lead into a surprise worldwide nuclear attack. As all the hatred and stress for decades or centuries accumulated and released.
