What's new

China disapproves FATF’s politicization, takes exception to anti-Pakistan designs

1. You do mate...just that those killings are justified in the name of "Blasphemy" in your country.
2. Who promote that radical Jihadi thinking in your society that eventually gave birth to the Frankenstein's monster? Now you will say US....no mate, US needed your help against USSR, how you will provide it was up to you...you chose Wahhabism/radicalisation as the way out...so you reaped what you sowed.
3. In the west, migrants who abide by law are fine. People who demand unjustified things, don't adept to their culture and don't follow rules can always complain of racism to satisfy themselves. This is not specific to Pakistanis but applies to all who are coming to a developed country but want to live the way they have been living in their third-world country.
4. We have learnt from our mistakes of the past, and have been integrating and respecting culture of natives (Maoris for me)...and above all we do not discriminate on the basis of one's religion. You do.
5. This can be said for even UN too. Mate everything is political, countries 'collaborate' and support based on their interests. China saving Jaish Chief 3 times using Veto power was not political?
6. But you support them raising funds, and foremost cannot control it...why? Are they too powerful or you don't have will to do so?
7. This was always the case. Search how many times/years, Pakistan has been in Grey list. You were there 4 years back too, for the same reason... how may more years you will need to control/stop ML...or your really don't want to do so?

I have just gone through your posting history. You are clearly an Indian. Nothing wrong with that, but just make it clear and stop hiding in front of other flags. I have interacted with your nationality enough to know what talking points you guys use that no body else uses, the phrases that you use that no body else uses, the rationale/logic you guys use that no body else uses.

I have analyzed your last 100 odd posts. Your talking points, the way you reason match those that only come from India. Literally no one outside India uses these talking points and reasoning. The same repeated talking points that come out of Indians, they way they are worded by Indians, and no one else. I mean, no one outside India believes that the Feb 26 strikes killed anyone or anything except a few trees and maybe a crow. Even the harshest critics of Pakistan that are not Indian. You believe those strikes were actually successful.

And that's just one example. Your own post above has phrases and talking points that only originate from Indian community. I don't have a problem arguing with Indians. I enjoy arguing with them as much as anyone else. I respect arguing with someone who is clear on their opinion but is also clear on who they are. At least show who you are and stop hiding. You may well be an immigrant to NZ but your heritage is clearly Indian.
Now, on to your points.

1) How many incidents you can count?
2) "Reaped what you sow", the phrase only regularly used by bhartis and no one else. You are clearly completely unaware of what happened in the soviet war. It was left up to Pakistan? Are you completely ignorant on the soviet war or what? Do you know who was involved in extremist indoctrination? Don't talk about things you have not even remotest clue about. Another usual Indian trait, not having any or only having grossly oversimplified knowledge of the soviet war.
3) You have never heard of white supremacy? The Indians that have been targeted in the west, they were also demanding unjustifiable things? Clearly nuances and context isn't a thing for you. There are many cases that were out and out racism and there's no way possible to twist them.
4) Talk about your native India, not NZ.
5) UN was made political long before China. Think of Israel.
6) Who is supporting them raising funds?
7) But the money laundering capitals of the world, UK and UAE are nowhere to be found. There is probably orders of magnitude more money laundering in those countries. Why are they not in the list? Precisely because of what China is mentioning.

We did not go bashing into Places of worship and start killing people based on their beliefs rather We have been victim of terrorism and in the west victim of racism so if you talk clean then come clean. Just by saying sorry or doing some stupid Hakka dance means nothing. You still have racism and skinheads in your country try perfecting yourself first.
FATF is nothing but another political tool like IMF. Pakistan does not fund any terrorist groups but the main problem is Money laundering that needs to be stopped and that is what FATF wants from Pakistan.

This guy is an Indian. Stop wasting your time.

.
On killing of 50 innocent people, yes we are sorry for it and are making best efforts that such "Incidents" are not repeated. On killing, I can't even compare what happens in your country...there you can't call them "Incidents" rather they are "Routine", isn't it?

I think you are talking about India, not NZ. They are routine there, no?

This guy is an Indian. Stop wasting your time.

The best case for him is that he's an Indian immigrant to NZ. Everything about him points to him being an Indian from a 100 mile away. Going through posting history makes it very obvious.

.
FATF is nothing but a general observer that is simply blackmailing Pakistan. been saying this for ages now

only the dumb fool hammad azhar has this pervert fascination to get FATF blessings

So yet another person, hell-bounded to paint me as an Indian. I am a 3rd Gen person of Pakistani Origin..now I don't want to repeat this crap again as I know if my thoughts do not align with with those with Pakistani establishment's (serving/retires/kins/kids from Pakistani defence/background), I am not one of you....and I am fine with it.

On your research over my origin/background.....which word is used by whom is new to me (Googled Bhartis - meaning Indian) . "Reap as you Sow" is Indian...interesting. The sentiment comes from the New Testament of the Bible, Galatians 6:7: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.”

Now on your replies 3-4, you responded considering me as an Indian so not worthy of my response.

5 - Then why don't countries who think it is politicised, boycott it? You crib but still live with it.
6 - I don't know .But i know they get funds and they are not stopped. Terror funding clause/FATF.
7 - Why UK is not there, can't say (though I support worst money launderers (UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany etc) should also be accounted for. But the fact that one can quantify the amount transected to these countries as ML itself shows that at least transactions are recorded (though not accounted for).

I am a Pakistani with multiple nationalities, I have no relationship with Pakistani defence establishment. I am certain you are Indian, because your talking style, the way you rationalize your views, your usual talking points are only ever seen from Indians.

I am talking about which nationality generally uses this phrase commonly in 2019. It is the nationality that believes in karma. But I'd be stupid to base my comments on just one phrase that you have used. As I mentioned, it is a combination your talking style, he way you rationalize your views, your usual talking points. Indians have a unique combination that is present in no other country. Even if you had a Pakistani background, Pakistanis who are extremely critical of Pakistan do not have this style.

Now on your replies 3-4, you responded considering me as an Indian so not worthy of my response.

Actually, 3 can apply to any country that has issues with white supremacist ideology.

5) Because it is a useful tool in other scenarios
6) That may well be true, I agree
7) And this is the crux of why it is becoming political. These countries are havens for dirty money and no one bats an eye lid.

I totally support it. No one should politicise the FATF regime. Pakistan must fulfill its obligation of curbing terrorists and their financers by Feb 2020 or face the consequences. No politics here.

Aren't the claims against Pakistan more than just terrorism financing, which is the crux of the argument?

Indians are like coward jackle they dont have the balls to face the enemy head on so they have resorted to scheming and trenchery!!

we Pakistanis we Muslims of the world have to unite under the Kalima and defeat these cunning idol worshippers and their allies se can all live in this delusion of nationalism but nationalism wont wont us the only thing that can save the Muslim world is bortherhood and faith!!

may Allah unite us!

Good on you Mate if you have done such a research on Indians.... but I am not one of them. My talking style, way I rationalise etc is influenced by my upbringing in a family having strong roots in the subcontinent ....but I am not an Indian.

5)So you consider it a useful tool when in suits you (when your country's interest are catered to)...then why this cribbing on politicising.. you too are party to it.
6) Thanks
7) China may be right but morally not justified. It is vouching for Pakistan (because of it's interest with your country) but haven't said a word when world goes after Iran (Blacklisted) or Bahamas, Cambodia, etc. (no interest)....so China itself is being political to cherry-pick one and say on it's behalf.

BEIJING: The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) forum should not be politicised by countries to pursue their agenda, said a top Chinese foreign ministry official on Monday.

“China does not want the FATF to be politicised by any single country. There are some countries which want to include Pakistan in the blacklist. They have political designs which China is against,” said Deputy Director General Yao Wen at the Department of Asian Affairs of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking to a group of Pakistani journalists, Mr Yao said China blocked attempts to include Pakistan in the blacklist. “We made it clear to the US and India that we cannot do it. It goes beyond the purpose of FATF,” he added.

He said the FATF was meant to support a country to take action against terror financing. “Pakistan was effectively pursuing its National Action Plan and China encouraged it to act against terrorists and strengthen its system.”

Official says some countries want Pakistan put on blacklist

Mr Yao said instead of pressuring Pakistan, FATF member countries should assist Pakistan to improve its system.

Besides China, Turkey and Malaysia also supported Pakistan in the FATF meeting held in October.

The FATF is a global watchdog for money laundering and terrorist financing. On Oct 18, it gave a four-month lifeline to Pakistan and strongly urged Pakistan to complete its action plan by February 2020 and until then the country will remain on the “grey list”, according to a Dawn newspaper report.

The Paris-based FATF reviewed measures taken and progress made by almost 15 countries, including Pakistan, vis-à-vis anti-money laundering and combating financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) in its five-day plenary, which concluded on Oct 18, the report added.

China, India

Mr Yao welcomed the establishment of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority by Pakistan and said it would help expedite work on CPEC projects.

About the recent visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to India amid Kashmir tensions, Mr Yao said relations between China and Pakistan were mature enough to handle such visits. “Mutual trust between China and Pakistan is very high while we have a deficit of trust with India since we have so many problems and differences [with them],” he added.

He said Mr Xi conveyed Pakistan’s concerns to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Kashmir.

“India was told that Pakistan did not want war with it and desired to resolve the Kashmir issue through peaceful means,” he added.

Mr Yao said China had a clear position that Kashmir is a disputed territory and the issue needs to be resolved in accordance with the United Nations Charter and Security Council resolutions.

“China did not back the unilateral action taken by India [on Aug 5]. China is willing to play a constructive role for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue,” he said. He said China and Pakistan had strong cooperation in the defence sector.

Its a bit late in the day for that sort of sentiment, isnt it china?.
Sadly in this era the main purpose of international bodies like this seems increasingly to be one of economic and political blackmail, rather than supposedly fighting money laundering and terrorism.

Pakistan should've been in blacklist, ironically the politics in FATF saved them from blacklist. Which is pretty evident from the countries that prevented Pakistan from being on blacklist, China, malaysia, Turkey. While FATF couldn't do much other than give another strong worded statement asking Pakistan to comply with the action plan which Pakistan failed to achieve, even half of it.

You worry about the lynchings, rape and human rights abuses in Modi's India before lecturing Pakistan on FATF action plan.

The last time I checked your own allies were scolding your country for human rights abuses in Kashmir.

Lynching and rape is not the topic here. It's terrorism sponsoring and funding by state of Pakistan.

No country in it's history has been sanctioned for Human rights violation. So, India don't give a flying F about those allies.
