That's how you perceive the statement.
Let me give you an example of Israel. This tiny country is most of the time at the receiving end on all the international platforms. But countries including those which are voiceferous about Palestine issue indulge in trade and intelligence sharing with Israel. Infact this is true for Iran too.
This is a human trait which can be observed at individual level also.
To me China's statement is one such example of this trait. That's how I perceive it.
There's simply no parallel between Pakistan-China relations and those between Israel or any other nation except US. The question is the same as it was before "Did the joint statement contain anything incriminating?" and the answer is no. No matter how many times you read it.
