yeah, only the ULTRA HIGH ENERGY LASER combined with super computer, and a bit of luck could potentially burn down a waverider, because a waverider is supposed to withhold at least 2000k for a while and still functioning normally.
And they can suffer the heat of reentry
If it's published in a paper, chances are that it was the author's intention to make it public, usually in order to back up and defend his findings and theories in face of other intellectuals in that specialization area.

Of course, rest assured that the paper didn't go in full detail about the subject, and even if it did, 99.9% of us wouldn't have a clue either way of how some extraordinary Ph.D assembled such an advanced system.

Really?!?! Any source about that second aircraft carrier? :D

China Conducts Fourth Test of Wu-14 Strike Vehicle | Washington Free Beacon

Perfect timing as General Fan visits USA to warn them against provoking the dragon in the South China Sea.

What is the development of the scram jet based hypersonic platform?

There have been 4 tests, were any of them for the scram jet hypersonic thing?

Ohh its the ballistic system that is hypersonic...lol i thought it was a scramjet.... Good job china.
Hopefully lazya$$ indians would twist a few screwdrivers for a change.

What do you mean by "lazya$$ indians would twist a few screwdrivers for a change"

More complicated then that,
However, the Wu-14 threatens to neutralize U.S. strategic missile defenses with the unique capability of flying at ultra high speeds and maneuvering to avoid detection and tracking by radar and missile defense interceptors.

The Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency has repeatedly declined to comment on whether current U.S. missile defenses can defeat maneuvering targets.

A congressional China commission stated in a report published in November that China is working on hypersonic arms as “a core component of its next-generation precision strike capability.”

“Hypersonic glide vehicles could render existing U.S. missile defense systems less effective and potentially obsolete,” the report said.

Nope. It's a ballistic glide vehicle.
In addition to the glide vehicle, China also is developing a second hypersonic weapon the uses a high-technology scramjet engine.

DRDO would actually put India from the 6th /7th nation to achieve something to the 1/2/3 rd nation.

Yup.
Two things are gonna be key
a) Hypersonics - especially ones with scramjets.
b) Lasers
Keep an eye out for India's first Hypersonic test by ISRO before August end(exact dates are not out)

I didn't know India is developing a Hypersonic delivery system? What is it, a scramjet?

Also, with your DRDO comment, were you admonishing them? Are you not satisfied with the progress of Indian Space Programme (which is anyways handled by ISRO)?

It is a scramjet , HLVTD , for the reusable launch vehicle....
India To Test Launch Reusable Launch Vehicle | Space content from Aviation Week
RLV’s first test flight date set for Aug. - The Hindu

The Indian Space Research Organisation is gearing up for the first test flight of the fully Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV), under plans to drive down the cost of placing satellites in orbit.

The test flight of the indigenously developed RLV- TD (Technology Demonstrator) will take place in late July or early August after the launch of the PSLV- C28 from Sriharikota, outgoing Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) M.C. Dathan told the media here on Friday. RLV has been conceived by ISRO as a space plane that will cut the launch cost from the present level of $5,000 per kg to $ 500 per kg.

The first trial involves the hypersonic flight experiment during which the RLV resembling a small winged aircraft will be launched up to an altitude of 70 km from atop a solid booster rocket and released. The thermally insulated RLV will re-enter the atmosphere and travel back to earth in a controlled descent, to be recovered from the sea, explained S. Somanath, Director-designate, Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC).

4-km runway

Mr. Dathan said the development of RLV was in the final stages. He said a 4 km runway would be constructed at SHAR for the RLV to make a horizontal landing in the subsequent test flights.

Mr. Somanath added that the RLV would be eventually powered by an air breathing scramjet under development. The first prototype of the scramjet with a 10 kg thrust was due to be tested in one month, followed by the development of a test facility at Mahendragiri for a more powerful engine.
It is obvious that DRDO would use that tech in Indian delivery systems. No Doubts.
ISRO IS OK ....DRDO has the responsibility to "weaponize" the tech.... hopefully they won't be lazy

You know, how we in NYC would respond to this......" N I G G A. P L E A S S E E"

USA is way beyond hypersonic.
We have PLASMA weapons.
Go back on drawing board.
