There is twist here. Although Nepal is neighbour of China, the Himalayas have made is impossible for Nepal to have similar kind of interests with China that is has with India. Moreover, for all practical purpose India and Nepal are same country.

We enter Pakistan to counter India if you launch attack on Tibet, it will contain you from dual front.
