there isn’t just one source because it was a multi year event u can probably google each and one but here’s the timeline

2000ish - USAF asked $65 billion to buy F22. Congress has that plane is too advanced we don’t have an immediate adversary don’t need it . F15,16,18 are fine

around 2004-2006. USAF held red flag (Air Force exercise ) with India where they took their F-15 /F-16 with them they purposly lost to their migs they made it so obvious they gave India 9:1 kill ratio . They went back to congress said the F15,16,18 u were saying we’re enough just got beaten by Indian migs AKA Russian technology


Congress approved the purchase but one senator knew the LM was fucking with them so he purposly put the amendment that LM can’t export this plane under the guise technology being too advanced to get back LM

around 2008. USAF held reg flag again with Indian only took their F-16s against Su-30 or 35. Idk which one exactly but one that has 360 vector thrust. USAF kicked their asses to prove dominance that we were playing. With u last time .

Yeah sure,NATO plus allies like Japan would just sit by and watch.

Japan is a good example if what youre talkign about- issue that i worry about is motivation and timing. US allies might not want to go to war when US chooses to, and vice versa..domestic,regional and intl politics all influence the real possibility. and also, China is getting the same deterrence US has had for a while- its not that you cant fight China, but your country will likely get completely destroyed just fighting China, which makes fighting CHina alot less appealing.

china has less number of fighter jets and they cannot win air raids by u.s if war occur,china need to mass produce new generation fighterjets before they want to confront u.s

indian pilots are not better trained and Pakistan defeated indian airforce even at the time when we not have f16s during 1965 war,so if u.s defeated indian pilots in exercises it not means that result will be similar when these jets are operated by more capable pilots like chinese ,russian and europeans,if u.s pilots operated russian jets of india and got defeated by u.s jets operated by indian pilots during exercise then it will be clear beyond doubt that russian jets are crap

It is a known Fact that f-16s are incredibly better than any counter-part mig. F-15 scored 100 kills against the Russian made planes and never have been show down. as far as training is conceded u do know that Indian pilots were trained by the Russians to fly mig they didn’t learn it in their sleep. Iraqis also learned from the Russians, Iranians also learned from the Russians. And in all of those combats migs were outmatched by the falcons

As far as US, we taught you how to Fly the F-16s, tactics etc.
We taught the Israelis how to fly the F-15s and result were self explanatory who’s teaching and who’s equipment better

3- As far as US fighting it’s comparable adversaries the lost goes on starting with
- British empire, independence war, war of 1812
- Mexico, Mexican Mercian war
- Spain, Spanish American war
-Germany, 2nd world war
