China BOE Group successfully developed large OLED panels and Korean industry is very nervous
Observer Network 2018-11-29 14:57:28
[Observer Network] According to the Korea Economic Daily reported on November 28, industry sources said that China's largest panel maker BOE has successfully developed a 55-inch 4K OLED display panel using inkjet printing technology. This makes the Korean panel companies represented by the LG show very nervous.

Compared with the existing vacuum coating, inkjet printing technology can effectively reduce the production cost of large OLEDs, and is a new generation technology. LG shows that it has been preparing for inkjet printing technology a few years ago. Samsung Display also plans to use inkjet printing technology in the QD-OLED production line.

BOE has used inkjet printing technology to produce 17-inch OLED panels since 2012. It has successfully adopted this technology for the first time in six years to develop large-scale OLEDs, and is also investing in mass production of OLED panels. This will have an impact on the current leader in the OLED market.

Chinese companies have mastered most of the LCD market, and after having the technology and actual production capacity of large-scale OLED panels, they will also launch a storm on the OLED market. According to the analysis, as a TV consumer, if China achieves self-sufficiency in OLED panels, it will be a fatal blow to Korean manufacturers.

Despite all the empty bravado from all the third world countries, if there is one developing country that is actually advancing in science, technology and industry, the most obvious such country would be China.

High IQ + Confuciansm + Stability + Reasonable policies = Steady rise to developed country status.

We see that in China.

BOE's mass-produced OLED panels have begun to deliver to Huawei, OPPO and VIVO
Technology Infos 2018-11-22 07:20:00
As we all know, OLED screens have the characteristics of fast response, high brightness and power saving. However, OLED technology has always been controlled by Korean company Samsung. China is a big country in mobile phone production. A mobile phone with a price of two thousand yuan requires 800 yuan. yuan. This means that the production of a mobile phone needs to send 800 yuan to foreign countries. Domestic manufacturers have no bargaining power on the cost of mobile phone materials, resulting in a mobile phone that Lei Jun said only earns tens of dollars. However, BOE broke this deadlock and let us stand up!

BOE's first 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line has been put into mass-production. The first customers are Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE. BOE's 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line is the first in China and the second flexible screen production line in the world. In one fell swoop to break Samsung's monopoly on OLED screens, the Chinese have finally taken an important position in the key screen technology of modern electronic technology.

The flexible screen can be bent at will, can be made into the same shape of the iPhone X, or can be bent into a bracelet and worn on the hand, which is the most important part of the future smart wearable device. Today, we Chinese have done it, which means we will take the lead in occupying more than $100 billion in the smart wearable market! The hegemony of the global high-end manufacturing industry is gradually translating into the hands of the Chinese. The map of the global economy will also be completely rewritten by the Chinese!

There many technological applications whereby any countries can make a certain product, china can make it cheaper n in recent times- better.

Example is this Smart LED bulb that costs only a fraction of those by Philips(has a speaker within the light bulb itself, is controlled by app via Bluetooth and syncs to whatever music that is playing in your phone) :

= 78yuan(16SGD or 11USD)

Or this LED Music controller(syncs to whatever music is playing via a built-in microphone or aux line in)

= 68yuan(13SGD or 9USD)
