Auschwitz was towards the purpose of genocide of undesireables. Nukes were towards the purpose of ending the war ASAP. You clearly have not thought of the alternatives to the bombing, and it's clear the only other alternative being considered was invasion. You should have a general idea what the costs of that would have been on all sides. Both cities had military factories, were logistics centers, and were also crucial headquarters when it came to the invasion, so if Imperial Japan had not surrendered there would have been military value to the attacks.
