Establishing a tracking system to make sure all Chinese rare earth materials should not be sold to them is needed.

If China ban rare metals to these two defence companies, that will be something. US cant produce weapons like F 35 without Chinese rare metals and it will take US years to find replacements. I like to see that ban to hit the Yankees where it hurts, they have been sactioning Chinese companies for a long time, time for payback.

China did give the yanks fair warning. I remember seeing Xi Jinping visit rare earth processing site a few years ago. Even the unreliable entity list was initiated a few years ago. China took her sweet time to work out their implementation. All the while US thought China was bluffing and continued their unfriendly policy. Its going to be the same with Taiwan. China taking her sweet time to work out all the details. US thinks China is bluffing or afraid to act. Then BANG the reunification happens right on time as China had warned whether peacefully or thru armed conflict!

They are not rare but they are complicated to refine and it takes years to build up the infrastructure to produce it at a large scale. Never mind the environmental impact it will cause as well. The US will be able to eventually find replacements but it will cause a massive supply crunch and a delay of years.

Xi has been throwing false, hoax threats. Meanwhile He Liu signed the modern uneven treaty in Chinese history. Maybe he was never serious trying unify Taiwan until he was slapped on the face again and again. Let's see how this 'another' threat turns out.

we taught China how to, so it is much easier for us than you
